Our last trip with Alexander & Roberts to Ecuador and the Galápagos was amazing and stress free. Our trip to Africa with Alexander & Roberts had a few bumps in the road dealing with lack of communication, but the trip overall was a very special experience.

First of all our guide Sandeep was excellent,knowledgeable,professional.Mumbi,first hotel excellent,local guide just average,we stayed in all Oberoi Hotels.Udipur,hotel great,the room was not,we where there for Holi holiday .Jaipur,hotel great and staff,Amber Fort impressive.Agra ,again hotel amazing,TajMahal views fantastic.Delhi ,travel company used wrong hotel,not downtown,bad location for sightseeing.We had incomplete room categories in three of five hotels??The strength of our guide Sandeep saved the trip.If you book Oberoi Hotels,the room description of “ premier “ is not enough,that s a incomplete description that will require more detail.A&R disappointing with hotel dealings.India what a rush,I would return but not sure about using A&R.

The tour organization, tour guide and driver were EXCELLENT. Hotels were "tired" and our expectation was not met.

Everything went smoothly from beginning to end. Our tour guide was very friendly and knowledgeable.

We absolutely loved every moment of this 9 night tour! Our guide George took such good care of our every need/want, the itinerary was perfect, especially with the 3 small domestic flights to save us from Ugandan roads & gave more time in each place, and beautiful hotels/lodges (With the exception of one lodge in Queen Elizabeth National Park which is the reason for 4 stars instead of 5). The chimp and gorilla trekking were our primary focus for this itinerary and they were amazing....everything else was “icing on a very delicious cake”! Thank you A & R....well done!

Trip was well planned and thoughtful. Included exposure to the arts, society and culture...and offered space to meet and talk with people from all social strata. The only friction came from the mix of people in our group: some with some experience living in other countries, some with genuine interest, and some with the arrogance of wealthy Americans willing to judge but not really experience difference. BUT..it was a learning experience for all of us...the point of the trip.

I had a very good experience traveling with A&R to Peru. Hotels were top notch, included meals were generally excellent, great experiences while in country and fantastic tour director. There were a few small hiccups along the way but nothing that really marred the trip. I was so pleased with the overall experience that I came home and booked another trip with them which I'm definitely looking forward to this May.

In almost all respects a very good trip. The only exception was an inadequate bus to take us into the desert.
