The product is decent at best, I would not order from them again. Costco quality at double the price. Delivery took 2 months with multiple damaged packages. Company's support team was fast only to give half baked responses.

⸻ ⭐☆☆☆☆ Still Waiting for Refund — Extremely Disappointed I purchased a sofa from Albany Park and ended up returning it exactly one month ago — still in its original boxes, completely unused. Despite multiple follow-ups, I have not received my refund yet. The return process was slow and communication has been frustrating. I’ve provided all the required proof of return, but every time I reach out, I either get no update or a generic response saying “it’s being processed.” It’s unacceptable to wait this long for a refund, especially for an item that was returned in perfect condition and within the return window. I expected better customer service and transparency from a company with such a strong online presence. I won’t be purchasing from Albany Park again and hope they resolve this issue soon. ⸻

Purchased the Kova sofa in May 2024. Within a month or two after purchasing, all of the seat cushions on the sofa became very ratty, later the seat-back cushions did as well, and even a small part of the frame. I have used a Conair fabric shaver a few different times as recommended by Albany Park and though it mildly helped, the rattiness and piling came back very quickly. Albany Park continues to say that that is normal and does not mean there is a defect in their product. They say the rattiness/pilling will disappear once the excess fabric is gone. After having this couch for well over a year, this is still a very consistent issue. Essentially I have purchased a brand new couch that very quickly became old and ratty looking. I have stopped using the fabric shaver because it is actually very time-consuming to do all of the affected areas and the fabric shaver also gets dull pretty quickly and stops “shaving” the fabric. I am sure I would not have purchased the sofa, had I known it was normal to have this issue and for this issue to persist still over a year. Please add this to your description on your website. I communicated with them shortly after receiving the sofa and also very recently, and they continue to say the same thing. Do not purchase from them unless you would like a sofa that looks old and ratty after a month and continues to look that way, and then are told by the company that that is very normal.

Do NOT buy from this brand. All the reviews are true, the customer service is a nightmare and all they do is reply to all emails saying “we stand buy our warranty” and offer you 40% off a new product. Why would I want MORE of your product when you can’t even help me fix the first one? We bought a Kova 2 years ago, with intent to expand it when we moved to a new house. Albany park advertises the ease of adding pieces to your sofa and it being able to grow with you. Well, turns out they just discontinued our fabric so that’s not a possibility. Such a waste of money and false advertising. Don’t buy.

This company sucks! We ordered our sofa almost a month ago, was promised a ship date within a few days, which was pushed out much later with no email or phone update and had to reach out to them to find out. First of all the ‘ship date’ they provide you is a lie. Second after the sofas gets a ‘real’ ship date and you get to select a delivery date, the sofa does not get delivered and they start making up stories on how one of the pieces are missing. Mind you we find out all this after reaching out to them. And lastly, they have ‘no idea’ on when we would get it delivered by. Their customer support sucks, they call/email the warehouse to find out the details, who never responds. It’s frustrating when they market fake dates and we get stuck expecting a sofa to be delivered at a specific time and some how get left with no date. Super Inconsiderate company who don’t care about their customers whatsoever. Would’ve paid the extra amount to possibly get a better sofa and customer support. Horrible

Short review: DO NOT BUY ALBANY PARK'S CHEAPLY MADE GARBAGE. THIS IS A COMPANY THAT KNOWS THEY ARE SCREWING YOU AND THEY DON'T CARE. Long review: We've had our $1500 Kova couch for 3 years. The couch didn't even last ONE full year without the center upholstery ripping from normal usage. The seats sink so badly that if you try to sleep on it, you feel the center of the wooden frame digging into your abdomen (reminding you how badly you got screwed over by this company). I bought this couch hoping it would be easy to bring from apartment to apartment for years to come. Now I'm worried that dissembling it for my first move will literally destroy the couch because it is so flimsy. In case you're wondering, the Kova couch is literally just a hollow wooden frame, made from cheap wood, upholstered with cheap suede and a thin layer of foam. Had I known this, I would never had wasted my money on it. Words cannot describe how much I hate this couch.

We bought an Albany Park sofa in February and received it in March. We have two cats, so I did considerable research and found that vegan leather from this company is considered pet-friendly, ie. best fabric choice. APPARENTLY, pet-friendly means that if cats lick it, they will be safe... RATHER than it working for their owners for scratch protection, etc. Truly, unreal. We had this sofa for one day, and were shocked to see the arms were shredded and I mean, shredded. I contacted the company and they generously stated we could BUY new arms. They eventually agreed to let me have them for half price. This is after already spending $1,000. I write this not only frustrated by their lack of concern, but also to warn others to avoid this company at all costs. It is not cheap plus the feel and quality of the fabric are in a word, awful. ALBANY Park's advertising that this sofa is pet-friendly is FALSE, and I feel it weathered worse than most fabrics would.

Horrible customer service. Bought a couch last May (2024) and have been calling and emailing them showing them pictures until yesterday (5/25) of how UNpetfriendly the fabric has been when that is the reason why we bought it. Hairs get stuck in the weave and the fabric pills. After one year, they offered me 10% not including any other promotional sale. I offered to buy a leather couch to give the company a second chance...everyone knows how important word of mouth is....but needed a deep discount to do so. They say they have a lifetime warranty however, customer service just takes you around in circles until you get fed up. This couch was 3K. A lot of $ to the average person. I'm a little baffled how a company who praises their own craftsmanship would let this happen. One year later...the couch is going in the dumpster. Beware. I have pictures but cannot see where to upload. It's a shame. Couch has to be vacuumed every 2 weeks and covered just to survive. Disgusting purchase.
