The couch showed up super dirty, even though there was no external damage to the packaging. I purchased the 84" kova with a storage ottoman after almost a year of couch research and was pretty disappointed. I picked the Performance Chenille fabric in Oyster White and have no idea why they called this a performance fabric or stated it was good with pets, because I've had it for two weeks and it has already snagged in so many places from pet claws. While customer service was responsive, they only offered a 10% reimbursement and then 15% after I pushed back. Or, if I wanted to return it, I'd still have to pay for 20% of the couch. I do feel its important to note that they did offer to send replacement parts instead of a reimbursement if I chose to go that route. Lastly, this couch isn't nearly as comfortable as everyone states. There are no springs in the couch and the cushions just sit on top of wooden boards, so there is no give in the couch or sinking into it. Overall, I'm pretty disappointed and would not purchase again.

Overall, based on my genuine experience, I have given this review a low star rating because the product issues combined with lack of support made the experience unsatisfactory. I am sharing this honest feedback so other customers can make informed decisions and the company can see where they need to improve. As a customer, it’s frustrating to invest in a product that does not work as advertised, and even more frustrating when the company does not respond or take responsibility. I am writing this review in the hope that Albany Park will improve their customer service responsiveness and follow up when products are defective.

The boucle fabric has horrible pilling after only 2 months of normal use . It looks awful, old and worn out. This is unacceptable at this price point . Customer service wouldn’t help me and basically told me that it’s normal and to invest in a fabric shaver. The fabric is marketed as ‘kid friendly’ however it is definitely not. It can’t handle even light sitting without the pilling .

The color was much different from the color portrayed online. It is almost bright white. It has been difficult to keep clean with my two dogs even with the performance canvas.

I purchased the Kova Pit Sofa and it arrived just as I expected. It’s beautiful and was easy to assemble. After a few weeks, I decided to wash the cushion and pillow covers, but I realized the cover on the storage ottoman is not removable. One of the selling features for Albany Park Sofas is the fact that the cushion covers are removable, but they are not transparent about the storage ottomans having non-removable covers. Over the months that followed, the color on the storage ottoman began to look dingy. I reached out to support, sending my honest feedback about how much I loved the sofa, but it has a critical design flaw for a nearly $6,000 couch. They responded with generic advice about spot cleaning—which was irrelevant to my issue. After I pushed back twice, they finally offered a solution: sending me a new ottoman. Cool. After the replacement ottoman shipped, a rep emailed me letting me know it was in route and said “Note that the replacement may not be the exact one you originally ordered due to product availability”. The ottoman that arrived was in fact not the model for the couch I ordered. The color is also noticeably different and it’s longer and does not fit snug with my set, but I was so annoyed with how support failed me that I didn’t bother reaching back out. I believe I was sent an incompatible ottoman on purpose. If you’re planning on purchasing an ottoman, DON’T.

Honestly I was sent the wrong couch and the entire process to get it shipped back was a hassle on top of the time it took to wait for it. I about had a heart attack when I saw the wrong color in the box after the company dropped it off.

Delivery service of furniture was a nightmare. I hated that entire experience. I was told when the furniture was coming. And then was threatened to be charged extra for holding couch since I “refused delivery” until the date they told me it was coming. It didn’t make any sense. Couch itself is not holding up well to small children and pets - even though I selected the fabric choice that was marketed for pet owners. Very disappointed overall. I will not purchase from here in the future

I love the couch but the ottoman top isn’t removable so is now a different color entirely than the sofa which is washable. We’ve had it since June of last year and I don’t expect it to become as discoloured as it is.
