Im a current customer of ANE @245 in the morning I was woken up from the alarm sounding. A short time later the dispatcher called about the alarm. I stated I was in the house and referenced where the alarm came from. They refused to answer me. I had to access the alarm myself. No police ever showed and no call from the alarm company. Terrible service. Do not use.....

I spoke with Alexandra Curtiss at Alarm New England asking for an alarm monitoring rate reduction and she told me "...absolutely not since you are on a 3 year contract." I sensed from our telephone conversation that she was not happy with my request due to her tone and she interrupted me when I was speaking with her. After I advised her that we were not in a contract, she reviewed our agreement and confirmed that we were not in a contract and paid month to month. My husband and I were adamant to purchase our equipment and not have a contract so that we had the flexibility to change alarm monitoring companies. I am so happy we did based on my conversation with Alexandra. Their monthly monitoring rates are on the high side and I don't feel it is unreasonable to request a rate review/reduction given the current economic environment. My telephone conversation with Alexandra was very different from when my husband and I were reviewing alarm monitoring companies, and when I called to add additional equipment. Alexandra was very pleasant before we decided to use Alarm New England. I ask for a rate reduction and the conversation was not pleasant. Be careful when signing a multi year agreement
