I really enjoyed being able to go abroad with AIFS. The made the experience very easy and provided many opportunities to enjoy the local culture and life.

There aren’t a lot of options for STEM majors so you end up having to choose ‘just because’ which makes study abroad seem like a chore.

AIFS is the most helpful study abroad program you can find! I had no issues and never had to worry about a thing!! They made the big move a whole lot easier!

I love AIFS Study Abroad! The staff was super helpful and accommodating and did their best to make the adjustment to a new culture easy. I would recommend AIFS, especially the Granada program, to everyone.

AIFS Richmond in Rome I thought that my experience with AIFS was excellent and I really enjoyed it. My only suggestion for future years is to have better communication. Starting out, I thought that the initial pre-departure packet was informative but there was no information after that before departure until the week before. Receiving flight plans and other itinerary plans earlier would have been nice. Also, while abroad, I thought that communication could have been improved around activities. Some of the activities were very interesting but I was unsure what they entailed and what I needed to do in order to sign up. I would have liked more communication explaining what each activity was.

I studied abroad in the fall of 2019, in Barcelona, Spain. These four months were some of the best four months of my life! Everyone from AIFS was super helpful, nice, and fun! My apartment was great and in a convenient location! There is nothing I would change about my experience.

AIFS in Florence was an amazing program. The staff was beyond helpful with any travel advice, housing/roommate issues, academic help and organizing fun events for the students. Our housing and meal plan was one of the best parts of the program. Our housing was right in the center of the city just a short walk from not only our school, but famous attractions like the Ponte Vecchio, Statue of David, and Uffizzi Gallery. The meal plan was INCREDIBLE. It gave us the opportunity to eat in real Italian restaurants while giving us the best deals possible and getting our money's worth!! I loved AIFS in Florence and if I could go back I would 100% choose this program again!
