Studying abroad through AIFS was one of the greatest experiences in my life! I was able to get help throughout the entire process and everything was always organized which helped me tremendously. AIFS kept in touch with my school while I was studying abroad, updating them on my academic status. My parents felt very comfortable with AIFS because they had provided lots of information that eased any worries. As a Permanent Resident, I was worried about not being able to study abroad, but AIFS made sure that I had all that I needed before I left the US. I have honestly recommended AIFS to everyone because my study abroad experience was a dream come true because of all of their resources!

AIFS London was an amazing experience and I would recommend it to anyone who wants to experience big city life in the quiet area of Kensington. I couldn’t imagine a better city to experience amazing music, theatre, and history.

I can honestly say they gave me the best 3 weeks of my life!

I loved the excursions AIFS gave us the opportunity to go on! They ranged from program day trips to beautiful places in Greece, including an island, to unique dining experiences right in Athens. I would not have gotten all those experiences if I hadn't studied abroad through AIFS!

During my time abroad I loved immersion myself into a new culture. Living in Spain for two weeks and attending classes like a normal student was an experience I will never forget. I loved my host mom I stayed with and my professors were so knowledgeable.

Studying abroad in Rome was an unforgettable experience. I was able to meet amazing people who became like a family while exploring a new beautiful city and immersing myself in the culture. I was able to truly be myself and be present in the experience and found myself growing as a person. Through this experience it helped me appreciate the gifts of life even more than I did before.

I had a wonderful time in Fall 2019. Staff and programs were fantastic and helped create a wonderful experience for me!

Wonderful group of people, but you have to make the most of it for yourself! If you rely on AIFS for every experience, you'll be disappointed. The idea of using university students as our guides was great in theory, but the students weren't always great (ex. our guide was an hour late, and we were waiting in the cold all that time, the guide seemed more concerned talking about smoking marijuana than telling us what he was there for). Group excursions were amazing and a great addition to the trip. Directors and staff should be more mindful of opportunities for students. I volunteered for an English school and would've liked if the director had been more upfront about past student experiences at the school.
