Without AIFS, I would not have been able to make some of the best memories of my life. I felt trusted as an adult and a person to with AIFS in another country to be my own self and share it with the many amazing people the traveled far to our destination. They entrusted us to provide for ourselves and saw us not only as students but people looking to find out what we wanted. With an amazing staff that have so much knowledge, the care of the workers who kept our environment clean and healthy, and the activities that gave plenty of memorable moments for us to hold onto my experience with AIFS is grateful for the opportunity I had to experience the world I live in with them.

I had an incomparably great experience in Athens, Greece this past semester. It was so enlightening to live in a different country, and learn in a different school system. I loved the rich history of Athens and the beautiful beaches of the Greek islands. It was so much fun and helped me grow as a person tremendously.

The AIFS study abroad program was a great experience, I encourage anyone who is tempted to study abroad to go through this program. They made everything easy for us and couldn't have been a better experience!

I chose to go to Costa Rica because I wanted to practice my Spanish because I am a native speaker and because I need to take two classes at the same time that was not offered at my school. I made great native and study abroad friends that I still talk to, to date and I loved it there so much I plan to move there when I graduate. Although it was more expensive than my typical semester and I spent about $800 a month on food because lunch was not included. I still would go again if I had the chance.

The AIFS staff was very friendly and accommodating. I will treasure my study abroad experience for the rest of my life!

I really enjoyed studying abroad with AIFS. I was in Stellenbosch, and loved the people who were running it there! They were very helpful, especially at the begging omg with figuring out logistics and classes. I also really liked the excursions they provided!!

AIFS made my experience studying abroad everything I wanted and more! One thing I must say is the people at AIFS are always so helpful! They took the hassle away from me by arranging my flights and included so many fun excursions in the program fees. AIFS allowed me to immerse myself within the Costa Rican culture! AIFS helped make Costa Rica become a home away from home. I’m so happy I picked this program to study abroad through!

Going abroad through AIFS made the process so easy and doable. The representatives are there for students to answer questions big and small. I studied at Richmond, The American International University in Kensington, London during the fall 2019 semester as a junior. My experience with AIFS and the program a whole was amazing and makes me want to apply for another abroad experience!! In London I stayed in a dorm and had two roommates that ended up becoming two of my best friends. The roommates assigned are all students studying through AIFS and so are a majority of the students living in the dorms. Overall, I highly recommend AIFS because, as stated before, the representatives make the whole study abroad process so easy and a lot less confusing and scary than you think!! The reps are also willing to talk to parents and answer any questions they might have.
