What happened to the aflac of 20 years ago. My ex husband has cancer and filed a claim with them in january and is still going back and forth. Submitting and resubmitting forms and documentation over and over again. The physicians have submitted his diagnosis and the last mofo he spoke to with aflac said “ it doesn’t add up”. What doesn’t? Cancer! I think this is what they do. Take your premiums for years and when you finally need them. They don’t want to payout. At a time when you need them the most. Now that’s the worst kind of business and the worst kind of scheme to pull of the most vulnerable and weak. SHAME ON YOU AFLAC. You went from the best to the worst!! If you are considering giving them your business like I was. Go somewhere else!!

I hurt my self and my side got swollen , they, said that they had to cut some tissues out, I've been off work for 2 weeks I turned to all my paperwork in now they talking about they want proof of the accident, when I turned all the paperwork in, they started asking for paperwork that I don't have, I think they just don't want to pay me so I'm canceling the policy, I think Aflac is a ripoff

What has happened to the Aflac that my father and family trusted in 20yrs ago?? We used to receive payments within days now it’s months if not longer. We’re canceling our policy!

I have had my Cancer policy for thirty years. After getting breast cancer in 2022 it took an Act of Congress for Aflac to even acknowledge that I had submitted a claim and i had to submit and resubmit various exhaustive documentation to get my claim processed. It took months - all while fighting to stay alive during mastectomy, chemo and a year of immunotherapy. Now i filed a claim for my reconstruction and its the SAME thing all over again. Its a transparent scheme to avoid/delay paying out claims. .

After paying for Aflac for 13 years, I filed my first claim after being hit by a car as a pedestrian. After my initial stay, I was sent home on heavy painkillers and readmitted 4 days later due to severe back pain, constipation, and inability to urinate caused by the painkillers. They denied that the second visit was related. I am still fighting this, but I will cancel my policy once I am done with this dispute. They have no problem taking your money, but won't pay up when you need them.

I have subscribed to Aflac for over 20 years ($120 + per month) and for my employees. I just had a claim, for the first time, for two (2) nights for an Aneurysm. Sent ALL doctors information, surgery and hospital billings. Aflac would owe me all of $500+/- for this $250,000 medical bill and 20 plus year of $120/mo ($28,000 + in premiums paid). Aflac rejected my claim until I proved this was not a "per-existing" health problem!!! Really how the devil do you prove you did not have a health issue 20+ years ago!! One More Insurance company that is selling nothing but taking your money!

I’ve had Aflac for over ten years. I got hurt on march 20. I filed a claim finally after all the paperwork and junk they made me do on the 1st of April. Today is the 13th of April. It is still in review and not a word from them. This is not right. I broke 3 ribs and haven’t been able to go back to work. They said 2 to 3 days to process. But it’s been 2 weeks and still nothing. I suggest going elsewhere for insurance as I will cancel my policy if and once I get paid for my claim.

I filed a cancer claim on March 4th 2026. It is April 10th 2026 and the claim is still under review. Aflac says it takes 7 to 10 days to process and approve a claim. It has been over 30 business days since I filed the claim. I had to re-upload the same original documents on March 17th, 2026. (17 business days ago)Their representatives are polite but basically have nothing they can do and cannot explain the delay.
