This company had the product that I needed. It shipped within a reasonable amount of time though I think they could cut another day or two off the shipping time with a little more effort. I am very satisfied with the company overall and will order again from them in the future.

I thought the Ohaus TAJ602 Balance was supposed to have the Linearity Calibration performed at the factory. I would think that this would mean that the Calibration Lock would be locked after the calibration process. However, my scales arrived with the Calibration Lock UNLOCKED. This conserns me in that the scales may not be accurate. I have Class 7 Calibration Weights which, when tested on the scales is usually off by 0.01g for the 10g weight & the diviation increases as I use larger weights, even after a Span calibration. I know these are only Class 7 weights so, I can't say for sure if it's the weights or scales. I do like the scales but I also noticed that the weight does frequently frequently bounce around from 0.01g to 0.02g and I need to Tar the scales frequently. I am currently considering wheather I should pay a pro to have them calibrated or just return the scales.

Hello, Thank you for your feedback. The TAJ602 is calibrated at the factory, but this balance is sensitive to 0.01 gram and the location where you are located can be affected by the local acceleration of gravity. Therefore, we suggest that it be calibrated in your location to account for the local difference in gravity. Also, the calibration lock does not need to be locked when in transport and should come to you unlocked. Only the transport lock needs to be locked for shipping. The calibration lock is used for inspection by the local department of weights and measures to lock and seal the calibration mechanism for "legal for trade" applications and therefore should come to you unlocked. You can use either a 300 gram class 3 weight or a 500 gram class 2 weight together with a 100 gram class 3 weight to calibrate the balance. Class 7 weights have a variance of 0.021 grams at 300 grams and cannot ensure accurate span calibration. Settling of 0.01 to 0.02 grams is normal and will probably settle down once the balance has warmed up for at least 1/2 an hour. Also, make sure that it is level and on a stable surface. We can provide the proper calibration weights if you feel you need them. Thank you for your order and your feedback! Regards, H&C Weighing Systems

I hesitated buying an analytical balance from a supplier I was not familiar with but their prices were much better than anywhere else I found so I decided to give them a shot. Shipping was prompt and item arrived as described. I would use them again without hesitation.

It was so easy online, complete information and selections and very professional payment system. The delivery information all along was great because I was out of town for a portion of the time and arranged for my family to take it off my porch after delivery. Everything was as promised and I would recommend H & C Weighting Systems.

Was impressed with the quality and performance of the scale. I like the features that the scale is able to perform. I was impressed with the delivery, I ordered on Monday and received it the next day on standard delivery. This is a well-made scale and a good company to do business with.
