I recently wrote a negative review on A&E Factory Service. I was pre-mature in my experience in that I thought they ordered the wrong parts to complete the repair of our microwave oven. I didn't realize that they ordered many more parts which came later in the week to repair our microwave covered under insurance. That review was "My Bad" because I rushed to judgement. For now I will give them 5 Stars!

Scheduled an appointment to fix my fridge. The window was between 8 and 5. It is not 6 pm no call, text or other communication.

Washing machine broke in January 2023 with water still in drum. Scheduled appt. for repair with A&E but soonest available was one month later. Took the day off work and technician never showed. Found out that A&E did not know the part had arrived but they never told me to let them know that it did and the day before my appointment I got an email that told me that the appointment was still on. First new appointment available after that is one month later. Took the day off work. Technician never showed. Was late with his other jobs so he cancelled ours. Next available appointment 2 weeks later. In the meanwhile, there is water in our washing machine that we cannot get out because it is unreachable. Mold is growing.It smells. Need to schedule another day off work. Desired outcome: The next available appointment is for March 28th and we need to have the part installed now so that we can drain the water. Please move us ahead to the top of the list and give us a sooner appointment. Let me know.Thank you,Rick

My A&E Factory Service month+ of torture began officially on 1/28/23. At least that's the first communication I got from them via text message about my first repair appointment. It actually began a couple of weeks earlier trying to chase them down. I won't bore you with all my specific details, I'll simply explain why you should NEVER contact this company and cite personal examples from my own experience with them: - 9 hour "arrival window" from 8AM-5PM - Terrible communications all around - The techs are incompetent, they did zero diagnostic evaluation on the first visit, misdiagnosed the problem and sent a new part to replace a part that was not defective. I installed that part myself and the same error code continued. - The time interval between parts arrival and tech visit can be weeks - if they show up. They blew me off for a day on the second visit - When they do not show up, they auto reschedule a new date without your approval, like their time is all that matters - Talking to a human being other than during a tech visit is almost impossible - A second set of techs came out, ran the proper Samsung diagnostic procedure and ordered more parts. One of the repair parts they ordered was for a different machine, it didn't fit my machine. They can't even order the correct parts! - I installed the parts they sent myself because the lag time between parts arrival and tech arrival was 10+ days. Google has all the installation instructional videos. It was easy work for any experienced DIYer. The machine ran for 5 days, quit and produced the same error code that started this mess. I'm six weeks without a washer by this point. - Check please - I'm out of here. I went to a different appliance store and bought a new Speed Queen washer and dryer (NOT LG or Samsung - both are garbage)! - A&E is run by the same business geniuses who ran Sears into the ground. A&E Factory Repair is actually Sears Repair rebranded. They just changed the wrap graphics on their trucks. - This is the worst run repair organization I have ever encountered. You've been warned. - I'll never buy another extended warranty for an appliance. It's a deal with the devil. - I'll never buy another Samsung appliance PS - A&E "parts retrieval" emailed me and wanted the unused wrong part returned to them. I complied - that was the most efficient part of this entire exercise in stupidity and incompetence.

Do not use this company for any reason. You can not talk to any person that makes sense. I've asked for a copy of my paper work starting Nov 30,2022 I still do not have it. Now they are billing me for services I've already paid for.... I called my card used for transaction and 100% paid. The lady I spoke with when I called was trying to refund my money they are billing me for...this place is a JOKE..

I have been without a dishwasher since November. So many excuses. Parts out of stock. When I get the part they said they need to wait for the second one, which wasn't necessary for the machine to work. They finally agreed to come on January 14th. They did not show. I got another text saying they would be here on the 18th. Again no show. When I called they said the claim was closed and completed. The part is still on my counter! HSA Home Warranty is no better. They cannot even get in touch with A&E for answers. They certainly know how to take your money and time with no results.

Minimally trained technicians. Poor procedures. Slow service. Numerous broken appointments. Impossible to get a supervisor to examine a problem. I don't know what factory trained these techs, but it wasn't GE. My non-GE tech had better diagnostic tools than the clowns from A & E. I would rather spend more money on a local repair service than get forced to use A&E for a repair. This is owned by Sears. We know how well Sears is doing.

Please for God's sake don't let this company come to work on anything for you .this is the biggest bunch of incopantint bunch I have ever seen
