This is a scammer business, There are no live people to speak to. Everything is AI. The guy that came out bad mouthed the business, he didn't want to work, the company advertises they do services they don't have parts for or if they do its 4x price. They say you can pay with a check but then won't take a check but tell you have to pay on a phone service that you don't get a reciept for (they just take your money) and the app they use triples the price quoted from original AI booking. Its not SEARS, don't let that fool you like it did me.

On 12 17 2025 a Sears repairman was supposed to have replaced the moisture sensor on my dryer. The next day I wash some clothes when I opened the dryer all the parts were laying in the bottom of the dryer. The whole lint assembly was laying there. I took them out and there was a 4 inch by 3 inch piece broken off and I could not find it on top of that he had ripped the wiring harness in half. I also went to start the dryer and it would not start. Not a problem before he was at my house. So on 12 18 2025 I call home services and tell them what I found. Was told they expedited and someone would be there on 12 19 2925. Well I got a message saying they wouldn't be there till the 23rd. At this point it had been over 2 weeks since my dryer worked so on 12 19 2025 I called a well know appliance repair company. They came over. I stood there while they took it apart. The broken piece had fell into the blower and wedged itself. The Sears repair guy had ran the machine causing a flat spot on the broken piece. Also the broken piece had become so wedged the blower would not turn. And it ended up burning up the main control board which is discontinued. My dryer is less than 2 years old. It was an 800 dollar machine. So the Sears repairman through nothing but ignorance totally ruined my dryer. So with laundry piling up around the house I had to buy a new dryer which was 704 dollars.

A&E/Sears made 7 appointments from 8 to 5 to fix my freezer. 3 of these calls they just didn't show up even after confirming the appointment with a text message; 1 call was a no-show from the technician who said I was too far for him to come and he will just order the parts i need. the technician who did show up, said he knew what was wrong without doing any diagnosis and ordered parts. In and out in 5 minutes. The next came, installed the parts and left without verifying that the problem was fixed. They have replaced any humans on the phone with a poor AI and you cant get anything resolved. 7 days of missing work to not get my freezer fixed. They clearly do not care about their customers.

Tech came out to repair refrigerator; it was not keeping cold. Tech put a new evaptor fan in it and said it was fixed. I sign his work order, and he left. 30 minutes later I noticed it was not cold at all. So, I called him on his cell phone that he called me to advise he was here. He didn't answer my call. so, I called in a new work order for the next day. I've already paid my deductible as well. Next day he's at my gate. He sees me and is yelling from the gate,"I'm fixing it, you have to get someone else. I said what? so I went out to meet him. He again told me he's not working again on it. Why? he said I don't get paid. At that point I told to just leave and never come back here. His name was Kenny. He got in his truck and proceeded to back up and hit our gate pad with his mirror. he bent our key entry pole. His mirror was out of place too. He was still driving and tried to make believe he did nothing. I gesture him to stop. He stopped. I asked him did he intend to leave my driveway like that. He got scared and try to fix his mirror and left! I tried to call his supervisor but there were no numbers on his truck either. I'm left with a broken keypad and refrigerator not cooling and out of my deductible and he's going to his next victim. I hope you see this Aefactory service,Sears. Claim #48467879.

The company is supposed to send someone to repair my washing machine here in downtown Washington, DC. They have stood me up 6 (SIX) times and were scheduled to come today. They told me they would be here at 10:30 am, then 11:30 am, and then when I called they said they had cancelled and rescheduled for a date in the future which we cannot be home for. No telephone call or message, just cancelled. I asked what the reason for cancelling was when I was able to get through to the call center and was told "it was raining." True, it is a light rain. But even if it were heavy the washer is inside the apartment. This is a terrible company and should be drummed out of business.

Our home warranty had us contact A&E to repair a new refrigerator for water leaks and an ice maker that didn't work. They sent a man who blamed us for not installing the water filter correctly. He mopped up the water, reseated the filter and left. It was soon leaking again and A&E sent the same man out who did the same thing. A couple of weeks later when it was leaking again. From June through December we begged and tried to get them to return and fix their junk, but cancelled, rescheduled, and strung us along until October. One time the repairman was one block away in the mid morning and they cancelled telling us there was no one available. Their work is shoddy when they can be bothered to work. Avoid this business at all costs. If there was a way to rate lower than 1 star I'd do it

This company is a joke. Never consider them for any kind of service you may need. They gave me a window between 8:00 AM and 12:00 Noon for the technician to show up but he decided to come at 3:00 PM. The technician was extremely rude and unprofessional. He called me on the phone at 2:00 PM asking me what was the problem with my unit. I told him it blows warm air and needs servicing. He said he will be at my house in 30 minutes. I went to use the bathroom and in less than 10 minutes he showed up at my door. Obviously he wasn’t 30 minutes away. I used the bathroom very quickly, washed my hands, and ran to open the door, but he decided to close my ticket and leave because it took me one full minute to open the door for him even though he was 3 hours late. I asked him to come in and he said he rang the doorbell twice and since I took more than a minute to open the door, he cancelled my ticket and decided to leave. I told him I am home and you are on my property so let’s get this job done. He said no. I took a video of him and his van before he took off. The guy was rude, unprofessional, obnoxious, and had an attitude from hell. I am extremely disappointed at this Mickey Mouse company. I am going to blast this incident all over social media. I question his employer a&e factory service how in the world did they hire a guy like that. It’s beyond my level of comprehension. I know for a fact this company will never be able to sustain business at this rate if they hire such low quality technicians. Shame on them for allowing such behavior take place without repercussions. I took a video of the guy before left. I took of the technician as he drove off in his van. Big time disappointment and bad news!!!

Terrible company. Never showed up but called me multiple times to sell me doors and windows. Tried calling customer service which was in another country. It was a total waste of time. No explanation on why they never showed up.
