Hi Charles, thank you for bringing this to our attention. We researched your order and learnt that the pads you ordered for a Philips device have a 2 year life. See details on our page for reference. https://www.aed.com/philips-heartstart-onsite-adult-smart-pads.html Some manufacturers (Zoll and Heartsine) offer longer expiration pads but 2 years is the standard for most manufacturers.
