Hi Refugio, I understand being cautious about sharing your ID, especially when you could order without it before. We've expanded Adegen into a telehealth service with our own licensed pharmacy, so a licensed physician now reviews every prescription. Like any telehealth provider prescribing medication, the physician has to verify the identity of the person they're treating, and a photo ID is how that's done. It's uploaded through a secure patient portal and protected as confidential medical information. Our shampoo, brush, and roller can still be ordered without a questionnaire or ID. Hi Lindsay, This is John, the founder of Adegen. I wanted to reach out to you personally. You have every right to be upset, and I want you to know I share the frustration. You’re one of our best customers, and the last thing I ever wanted was to be unable to keep offering you our products. Here’s the honest background. I have spent several years building our pharmacy, and licensing it in the US requires a separate license in every individual state to sell across state lines. It was the hardest and most expensive thing I’ve ever done, and I did it only because my goal has always been to make the best products possible and help as many people as I can. But the law and regulations around prescription medication are extremely strict. We are not allowed to ship prescription medication internationally, and we cannot ship a prescription order when we know it is intended to be forwarded outside the United States. I have looked for every option within the rules, and unfortunately today there isn’t one. The previous formulas are also no longer available. That wasn’t a choice either. Pharmacy regulations required us to discontinue them, which is why we can’t keep supplying the old topical. Bringing Adegen back to the UK through the proper channels is something I’d love to do, but I won’t pretend it’s coming anytime soon. If it ever becomes possible, you will be among the first to know. In the meantime, a physician in the UK is the best resource for similar treatment options available to you locally. And if it would help, I’m happy to share information with a local compounding pharmacy of your choice so they can make a similar formula for you. If there is anything else I can do, please don’t hesitate to ask. I want to be clear that this was never a decision to drop our international customers. It is genuinely outside of my control. Hi Greta, We understand this is a major change from how you ordered before. All ARB™ Topicals are now prescription products made in our own US-based pharmacy, including the base A5 and A15 formulas without finasteride or dutasteride. The medical questionnaire and scalp photos are required so a licensed physician can review the order before it ships. That information goes through the secure patient platform, stays in the medical record with the care team, and is not collected for marketing purposes. Hair growth cycles typically take around 90–100 days, so most people need more time before noticing meaningful visible changes. The ARB Shampoo and brushes can be very helpful for people experiencing early thinning. For more progressive hair loss, we generally recommend the full routine, including the ARB Topical and 10X Roller, as that’s where most customers tend to see the strongest regrowth results.
