I took delivery of a CPAP from Alina Home Health care in July of 2020 - everything going fine. Have all the receipts and proof of delivery. Alina Home Health sold to AdaptHealth. THE WORST COMPANY I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH!! The sale must have been in February of 2021. I say that because when I started running into issues they claimed that I took delivery of the CPAP in February. I faxed all the paperwork to them twice - documents included proof of delivery, every payment in the form of EOB’s, document showing my agreement with Alina Home Health was a 10 month rental then I owned it. Long story short - Many Many calls, promises of returned calls, promise to have a supervisor call, promise of a owner transfer letter. Started all of this communication in May of 2021. They continued billing us even after we were supposed to get the ownership transfer letter (we had a confirmation number provided by them which was supposed to confirm ownership had been transferred). We finally got this resolved in June of 2022. Looks like I’m one of the lucky ones -I got it resolved and the overbillings credited. I should note that I was being billed, I just stopped paying the bill. I did get the names and corporate address in PA for the President, the CEO, and the Board Chair. Threaten to write a short book outlining everything that went on with copies to the Minnesota AG. NEVER UTILIZE ADAPTHEALTH!!. I did talk with my sleep clinic. Their comment was “We have nothing but problems with AdaptHealth.” When posting this review it asked if I wanted to let AdaptHealth know about this review - why bother I’m sure it would be ignored.

One should be able to tell what a wonderful company Adapt Health is just by looking at the bar ratings!! Absolutely the worst!! Pretty sad that my Doctor's office has asked me to change suppliers because they have such a hard time communicating with anyone at Adapt Health. Constantly, they claim they do not receive the doctors "fax" so my orders are always delayed and I have no supplies left, yet my doctors office says they have been sent many times and they have a confirmation for each one. Besides, who in the hell sends a "fax" today??? Talk about antiquated!!! They just DO NOT go above and beyond. I truly don't get it. I just hung up from speaking to a Supervisor, and even she did not go the extra step. She continued to defend this worthless company regardless of the comments/questions I was making. I m done, not worth the aggravation every 3 months!

Stay away from this company, I needed to reorder my supplies which they charge me $71 I've never received it, UPS delivery delivered to wrong location due to zip code this is all shipping department that was set up from adapt health, I've called numerous times that I shouldn't pay for something that I didn't receive, bunch of foreigner that don't give a s***t

Firstly I was unable to find a human to speak with on the phone after dialing 3 different numbers. I received a check in the mail on June 21, 2022 for just under $30 for an invoice dated 1/17/2022, without any explanation or accompanying letter. Thinking that it might be some type of convoluted scam I tried, in vain, to reach somebody for an explanation. That failing I tore up the check and will make certain that if I am need of medical supplies or equipment I will never do business with them

If I could give a -5 I would. The billing process is horrible. I always pay my bill through bill pay. Because they don’t accept bill pay, my bank always has to send a manual check. They cash the checks and never credit my account. Each time I have to call and wait on the line a ridiculous amount of time. Each person I speak with provides a different amount that is owed. I then have to e-mail a copy of the cashed check as proof that they received the money. So time consuming to deal with this company. It’s the exact reason that I would never sign up for auto pay with this company because they do not have their act together. Do not deal with this company!!

There are other medical supply companies out there. Do a search call them as long as they take your insurance or private pay ask about switching. That is what I did. I am saving 150$ a month. Oh and don't forget to ask if they are an adapt health company stay away keep looking. Best of luck to you.

INCOMPETENT!! I have had the unpleasant experience of dealing with this Adapt/Family Medical Supply company since April; three months later I'm still having to fix the issues their internal errors and mishandling of my medical information have caused. Because they took so long to fulfill my prescription and insurance authorization for equipment I was told that it "timed out/was dropped in their system", upon talking to my insurance company they conveyed Adapt never sent the "medical necessity" forms requested numerous times to maintain the prescription and initial authorization. After phoning weekly for two months, I was suddenly told, "I don't see your name for equipment in our system" Turns out they lost my paper work and said I had to make calls to my sleep clinic and primary doctor to expedite paper work back into their system and to my insurance directly to ensure a speedy authorization back into their system. After I made the calls and had the paperwork resubmitted, Adapt still took two weeks to process the paper work. In the mean time, I was told a store was holding my Cpap and as soon as my insurance authorization appeared in their system I could schedule my fitting. I didn't hear from them so of course another phone call 5 days later to the store now to see if they had received my insurance authorization, they hadn't, and they no longer had the device. Adapt hadn't told them to hold it even though they told me they had. So here I am back to the drawing board looking in the system for a Cpap that doesn't require me dealing with the Adapt / Family Medical Supply. HORRIBLE COMPANY, INCOMPETENT, HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!

The absolutely worst company I have ever delt with and I am stunned that the are in business. I needed a new cpap machine and supplies. It's been a nightmare. And the employees lie constantly , the last guy I felt with not only lied, he was aggressive and rude. They all tell different stores and the story constantly changes. Whatever you need, it's best to find a better company.
