Adapt Health has faulty invoicing and billing. I shall see how they handle a very well-documented billing error in the amount of over $800. My thinking is a report to my state's Attorney General, as well as their headquarters' stare Attorney General, will be in the near future. After reading other reports, it's a systemic problem that appears to be this Company's policy.

This company sent my bill to a debt collector . A bill that was not owed. I got nowhere with anyone I spoke to. They kept telling my account was in asset recovery but no-one seemed to know why. First I was told it was due to non-compliance then I was told the reason was due to a $ 80.00 bill , a bill that I was not aware of and lastly I was told that I needed to have a face to face appointment with my doctor. At one point I thought the issues was resolved after speaking to an agent but then I received a bill from a debt collector saying that I owed $ 800. These people that are working for adapt health are incompetent . The departments do not communicate with each other and they have no clue what they are even talking about when you call.

Terrible. We took a rented wheelchair to at least 3 different locations before one would accept the return after we no longer need it. THEY ARE STILL CHARGING US RENT ON THE WHEELCHAIR SEVERAL MONTHS AFTER THE RETURN, AND I CAN'T STOP THE AUTO PAY FEATURE OF THE WEBSITE. WORST EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD IN 50 YEARS AS AN ADULT !!!

Absolutely terrible. They double charged me multiple times. When I called up to let them know, the phone customer service was completely rude. First gentleman kept talking over me and then hung up on me. Second time I called back I got a woman who was just as ignorant. They didn’t even rectify the situation. She admitted to double charging me but then told me, I may get my money refunded but most likely they will just put it towards the next bill. Sadly they didn’t even do that. Once again they charged me and took more money.

BEWARE! Do Not Use horrible Adapt Health! They are nice over the phone; it's behind the scenes and delivery that are horrendous. I encourage potential patients to find a different service. I did and am a lot happier with the services I am receiving. I wish I would have read the reviews before using their service.

I THINK THE CEO OF ADAPT MEDICAL SHOULD TAKE JUST 1 DAY AND GO INTO HIS OFFICE AND READ THESE SICK 🤮 REVIEWS ABOUT THIS SCREWED UP COMPANY. I AM SOOO SICK AND TIRED OF MY ORDERS NOT BEING CORRECT. THEN WHEN YOU CALL THEY LEAVE YOU ON HOLD FOREVER. THIS PLACE NEEDS A GOOD KICK IN THE BUTT. ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE PLACE TO GET 😷 MEDICAL SUPPLIES. CEO YOU SHOULD BE FIRED AS OF TONIGHT. Have been using medical supplies for the last 50 years. The customer care incompetence has caused me to run out of essential medical supplies this past December. The company held back orders for 6 weeks requesting documents and physician notes they had previously received. Adapthealth has exhibited a great lack of responsibility in the distribution of essential medical supplies. The 1 star is a higher rating than the company deserves.

Random bills is just the tip of the iceberg. I received a cpap machine on 9/26/2022 and I had to setup auto pay. Was told it was a rental (rent-to-own) agreement that the fist round of supplies were included. Even the agreement stated a $0 balance. 90 days later (outside of the 30 day grace period) they are sending me random bills due within a week of receiving them, for equipment and not any mention of a rental and I have received no resupplies, nor requested them. This is also equipment that they originally said was included in the "Rental" because it is not resupplies. I asked for clarification and they just continued to go around in circles that it was not the agreement. On top of that, what I have been billed (and paid) for the first round of the "rental" would have been cheaper if I had no insurance at all. there is a current pending lawsuit from 33 states against this company and others for false claims and kickbacks (US Justice file 1530586). This should say it all. this company is horrible and as shady as they get. With only a select amount of options to choose from and the fact that all these companies seem tied together do not, DO NOT follow your Dr.'s recommendation of going through a supplier. you are better off buying your own equipment. you are going to end up doing most of the work yourself anyway and this way you have control over costs and how much you are going to be billed. Luckily I know that any company that requires auto pay to even get through the door is a red flag and I did not give them access to any personal finances, once the random invoices started coming in I removed any financial access. If I didn't it would have been a sad Christmas and AeroCare, Loftis, AdaptHealth, Lovell or whatever they call themselves would have been to blame.
