Horrible customer service
My CPAP supplies are always sent promptly when ordered; however, Adapt Health's billing/insurance verification department is the most incompetent provider I have ever worked with. Last Fall, I became eligible for Medicare and also have secondary insurance that compliments what Medicare does not pay. They filed to Medicare, but did not file to my secondary insurance and instead of contacting me, they charged the balance to my credit card on file. When I called, they told me that I am not active with my secondary insurance, which is total BS. After being on the phone for hours with them on various dates, I finally had a Supervisor call me to say that she had insurance verification call my insurance company and that it was confirmed that I am covered. She said they are resubmitting the claim and would refund me once insurance paid. I also received a letter from their corporate compliance team to say that my secondary insurance is active and my claims have been rekeyed. So, a couple of days ago, I received a text stating that my autopay will be charged on 6/17 for the exact same amount they they have already drafted from my acct. When I called billing, she told me, again, that I am ineligible for benefits. ???????? I feel like I'm living an episode ot the Twilight Zone! I asked her to email me an itemized bill and I would file the claim myself since they are incapable of doing this themselves. Also asked for a Supervisor to call me and also left a message with the Resolution Specialist to call me. This was 2 days ago and haven't received the courtesy of a call back. Horrible customer service at Adapt Health!!!!!!!
