I had a horrible experience trying to get a sleep chamber replacement. I repeated myself to each agent i was transferred to which is unacceptable them to be disconnected to call back to wait on hold repeat myself again to be brought to want to cuss. That's bad. Brennan medical please answer your calls and don't force me to deal with all of this and other countries answering calls is unacceptable when it comes to my medical information. Disgusting

My mom recently got fitted for a new motorized wheelchair to replace the one she had for 10 years and was way beyond its life cycle. When getting fitted, it was determined she needed the lift feature added to her chair to increase her accessibility. Medicare would pay a portion of the chair cost, but not for the additional $1600 for the lift. We were told it would be ready in 4-6 weeks. After a couple months, I investigated what the hold up was. Apparenty, the associate we worked with, Josh, never submitted it. So, several weeks later, the chair is ready to be delivered. Before delivery, my mom was required to pay the 20% Medicare wouldn't pay which was $5000 and the additional $1600 for the lift mechanism. I witnessed my parents paying the entire balance just before the chair was delivered. 3 months later, they get and additional bill for $1600. I called to question this and was told it wasn't completely processed through insurance and not to worry about paying it. A month later they receive another bill for $1600. Upon calling they demanded payment or were going to send it to collections. I called because of the audacity of this whole thing was unacceptable. I was told "oh, the price of the chair went up". Ummmm, no. They were told an exact amount to pay prior to delivering the chair which was paid in full. It's not my parents responsibility to pay an additional amount because its more expensive now. For example, you buy a new car and pay it in cash. 3 months later the value of the car increases. Does the buyer have to pay that? no I have submitted a claim with the Better Business Bureau and of course they haven't gotten a response. They owe my parents $1600. I'm discussing with an attorney about taking them to small claims court. THIS IS TAKING ADVANTAGE OF ELDERLY HANDICAPPED PEOPLE ON A FIXED INCOME WHICH IS SLEAZY BUSINESS PRACTICE TO SAY THE LEAST! AVOID THIS COMPANY IF YOU CAN

CUSTOMER NO SERVICE FROM TECH ON CALL; NO RETURNED CALLS FOR A PATIENT JUST OUT OF THE CRITICAL CARE UNIT My husband was released from hospital two days ago after having pneumonia and a pneumothorax, thus, with difficulty in keeping his oxygen level up, he required an oxygen concentrator. A "portable" unit was dropped by prior to his discharge and he was told that there would be approx an hour's battery. When I picked him up, we plugged the device into my car's auxiliary outlet and directly headed to pick up his prescriptions (as the pharm was closing in half an hour). When I came out, I found that the battery had failed and he had no supplemental oxygen. When we arrived home, we plugged in the unit, which began working again. However, he was teathered to an electrical outlet, unable to leave the house (his physician had encouraged him to get outside). He called Adapt Health yesterday to request a service call. The answering service rep was polite and kind and promised to have a technician call right away. Nope. Today, he called called customer (no)service again and the answering service rep assured him he'd get in touch with the tech on call. Several hours later, nope. So, he called a third time. Fortunately, he reached the same gentleman (who was great) with whom he'd previously spoken, who expressed surprise that no on had contacted my husband. He then asked my Beloved to hold on and he'd contact the tech immediately. When he came back the answering service rep apologetically said that the tech was busy servicing another part of our metro area and could be here tomorrow. Seriously? He has to schedule several huge medical appointments first thing in the morning and getting out is dicey. We have no supplemental oxygen tanks or the like. And the person on call never gave him the courtesy of a return call, at least to try and explain a work around (he went through the instructions, to no avail). Plus the unit they gave him appears to be defective in the first place. Yes, it's a holiday weekend, but if you're going to supply essential needs, a company has to be prepared to perform due diligence.

Please note, a 0 star isn't an option. When I got my machine, the staff was fine. However, the billing department is a joke. They spread out the billing to my insurance over 10 times, which is fine. However, they did not get the pre-auth in order and it was denied. Note this was nearly 2 years ago. It took months to get the machine. They had plenty of time to get the pre-auth in order. They never took the opportunity to work with insurance to straighten out the issue so they would get paid. Just kept filing and getting denied. Then they present me with a bill over a year later. They want my current insurance. Why? The date of service was 2 years ago!! Insurance would pay if Adapt Health would do their part. But they didn't and that's not my fault. My guess is that they have a very high Receivables because Billing has no idea how to do their job.

If I could give this company a 0 I would. I have a CPAP machine. The company insists I’m not compliant with usage and wants me to pay the entire cost of my machine. My insurance company has called them twice and told them as far as they are concerned I am compliant and authorized. My insurance company has indicated to them they will pay the claim if AdaptHealth submits it. AdaptHealth still insists I am not complaint. They refuse to listen to me and my insurance company. My insurance company can’t figure out why this is happening. I have filed a complaint with the BBB also.

Misinformed me to their benefit. Received so many spam emails, (sometimes two a day) that their bills get lost, then sent texts pretending to be the salesperson I originally spoke to. Threatened to send me to collections for a bill they promised me I wouldn't owe. Feels scammy and gross.
