Once again there is a problem with receiving the correct replacement items for a CPAP machine they supplied. This is the 3rd time I have ordered replacement items and each time the wrong items for were sent.

Worst customer service!
This has to be the worst company I ever dealt with. Any interaction I had with this company they screwed it up. The latest being they messed up an order, after an hour trying to get customer service on the phone, they gave me instructions on how to return an item. They send me an email supposedly sending me a mailing label. Of course the label was not attached. Another hour on the phone and finally got the label. Mailed the item the next day. I verified they received the item but they continue to bill me. Previous to this incident, I was traveling and asked if they could send my medical supplies to a different address. They assured me this would not be a problem. They did not send. I literal called them 4 times over a two week period and each time was told they would correct the problem. Never happened. When we finally got home after a month, the package was at our front door. We finally changed companies.

INEPT!
Turned in script for after hip replacement surgery items 3 weeks before surgery; Binghamton NY Adapt employee took my paperwork and said they'd call me (not sure what for); one week later I called them and they said the items would be shipped that day; one week later I stopped by and they said they needed further confirmation from physician that these items were indeed needed (DIDN'T THE SCRIPT PROVIDE THAT?). Bottom line--didn't get or won't get the items before surgery or EVER as emailing the Syracuse NY Adapt office resulted in the same info being needed, ONE item not being covered by Medicare, and frustration on my part. Why didn't the initial contact tell me these things? It's bad enough to go through surgery and all that entails THEN to run into major screw-ups like this...unacceptable!

Unnecessary Charge To My Charge Card!
My sister was in a Fort Worth hospital with COVID. My sister is mentally handicapped, I am her brother and her Power of Attorney. The day before her discharge Healthline Medical called and said that they had an order to deliver oxygen and wanted to deliver it to the hospital. They requested all her insurance information. They also asked for a credit card that would be used for any portion of the bill not covered under Medicare and her supplemental insurance. It is late September; her deductible has been met for 2023. I explained that she wouldn’t have a remaining balance. They insisted that this was standard procedure. I gave them a card number against my better judgment, I felt like it was necessary to get my sister home safely.
Later in the day I received a call from Adapt Healthcare, completely confused me, I thought I was working with Healthline Medical. The technician said he would soon be making the delivery. The delivery was made to the hospital.
Fast forward to today Oct 2,2023 I receive a charge to my charge card from Aerocare Medical, now I am more confused. After some Google research I realized Adapt Healthcare owns many Medical Supply companies. I called the number for Healthline Medical and pushed the prompt for the billing department. I spoke to Rem Mersada and Rem requested a copy of my Power of Attorney before he would speak to me about the charge that was put on my charge card. I e-mailed him the Power of Attorney and he was to call me back in an hour. I waited an hour and a half before I called back. I had to wait on hold and tell the story all over again. I was told that I would have to wait for Rem to call back. I waited another 30 minutes, and I e-mailed Rem back. Rem responded to my email and said I had caught him at lunch. When Rem called back, he said the charge on my credit card was an estimate of what my responsibility would be. I explained that there wouldn’t be a patient portion, insurance would cover the cost. Rem said that my sister’s deductible may not have been met. I asked Rem if a claim had been sent to Medicare or her supplement insurance and he said no. I asked how he would know her deductible status, he didn’t have an answer. I knew at this point that I knew more about medical billing than he did. He said that I would get a refund if they got their money from insurance. At this point I asked Rem if he was working from a call center in the Philippines, I could just sense the difference in language and understanding. He immediately began acting like he couldn’t hear me; this went on for a minute and I hung up.
I called the main number and requested customer service. I asked for their physical address and was given the address of Aerocare on SE 820 in Fort Worth. I took the oxygen equipment back and told them what happened. The lady at Aerocare said that she would call and straighten things out. I told her at this point I only wanted to return the equipment. I will dispute/reverse the charges on my credit card.
I looked at the Better Business Bureau and Adapt Healthcare isn’t a member, but they have an “F” rating. I couldn’t find any Google reviews.
I wonder how many elderly and or handicap people are taken advantage of by companies like Adapt Healthcare?

SPOKE TO STEPHANIE WITH ADAPT TO TELL…
SPOKE TO STEPHANIE WITH ADAPT TO TELL HER THAT THE PATIENT IS REQUESTING THIS ORDER IS CANCELED DUE TO THE LACK OF SERVICE, AND KNOWLEDGE REGARDING MEDICARE GUIDELINES. THE COMMUNICATION FROM DIFFERENT PEOPLE THAT WE HAVE COME IN CONTACT WITH AT THIS AND ITS UMBRELLA COMPANIES IS RIDICULOUS. HE WILL BE USING A DIFFERENT COMPANY.

Horrible horrible! I received a very unnecessary call today about my husband's cpap machine. The very rude woman on the other end of the phone had the wrong date that we picked up the machine and so thought that we had no had not had the 90 day doctor follow up! Are you kidding me?
So 9 months later all of a sudden you think the pick up date is different? She refused to even listen to the real date that we picked up the machine and saw the doctor. Obviously since the insurance has been paying the bill and so have we for 9 months three is no problem. So instead of listening she threatened to repossess the CPAP machine! Are you kidding me? Yo can't repossess something that has been paid for! Is it really okay to call people and threaten them for no reason? Only because you have failed to keep your records properly. I don't think so. We use the local company Medway and they are pretty good, but we had no idea that they were just a part of this huge company that is horrible!
