I would give ZERO stars if I could. We paid for CPAP appointment and supplies up front when machine was picked up. Multiple phone calls saying supplies are due, they were told DO NOT CALL ANYMORE AND DO NOT SEND SUPPLIES WITHOUT ASKING. They have been taking $12 and something (supposedly for rental) automatically, then a random $300 something without knowledge or permission. Then they advise they are taking another $83.12 out so I cancelled the card SINCE THEY CANNOT OR WILL NOT FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS. Have only received supplies one time yet they keep charging for things never sent. I do the on line chat, they give me some BS about insurance and deductibles and suddenly, its after 4 pm and the guy (GIL) just ends the chat.
Their invoices are vague, the claims to insurance have multiple different charges on them and appear to be duplicates. I am renting the machine and want to cease any business with them. I work in Healthcare and will make sure I tell all the case management teams what kind of shady crap they are pulling.

Most incompetent phone reprecentives I…
Most incompetent phone reprecentives I have ever had to deal with. You stay on hold forever and when you finally reach a representive they don't follow through with your order. It talks 3 or 4 calls to Adapt to finally get your order right and ship it. I would give a zero rating if I could. Very frustrating!

Terrible service
Terrible service, they didnt have any of their information right then tried to charge me for a rental that i didnt even have. The issue was a bill that came 1 year and half later for a return machine. But they tried to charge me for the current year then after the agent Lisa told me on the call multiple times that call that she removed it and wasnt going to see that bill or calls anymore it went upeven more and got multiple calls i talked to two agents after that and told them the same thing and to review that call. I did everything i was told to do but they keep trying to charge me for a rental and thats not what i have. Another agent claimed that the new machine i have is paid off but i dont think i can teust what he say because i keep getting different feedback. They dont keep their word and they dont have the correct information or any at most time i called but to expect me to pay a bill that keeps going up

Worst Medical Equipment Company I Have…
Worst Medical Equipment Company I Have Ever Dealt With
Absolutely the worst company I have ever dealt with. I have never experienced such a complete lack of transparency, accountability, or concern for a customer.
I asked my doctor for a nebulizer because I needed one. I had no idea that the nebulizer being provided to me was actually a rental. Had I known I was agreeing to an ongoing rental, I would have never accepted it. I already have two nebulizers, and I recently discovered that I apparently have another one through AdaptHealth.
What makes this even more infuriating is the billing. I am being charged $4.04 every month, yet the bill does not even identify what I am being charged for. The statement simply lists old invoice numbers and amounts under “Past Due Summary.” There is nothing on this bill that clearly says, “This is your monthly rental charge for your nebulizer.”
When I questioned them about it, I was told that the rental information was supposedly provided when the equipment was originally sent. So apparently, in their mind, mentioning something once at the beginning means they never again have to clearly explain what they are charging you for.
That is NOT transparency.
If you are going to charge someone month after month for medical equipment, the bill should clearly state what the charge is for. I should not have to dig through old paperwork or call the company just to figure out why I am being billed.
And the worst part is their attitude. I felt like they simply did not care. There was no sense that they wanted to resolve the problem or even understand why I was upset.
I would have NEVER agreed to rent another nebulizer if I had understood that was what I was signing up for. I feel completely misled by the way this was handled.
If your doctor recommends equipment through AdaptHealth, ask VERY specific questions before accepting anything. Ask whether you are buying it or renting it, how long you will be charged, exactly how much you will pay over time, and what happens when you no longer need the equipment. Get everything in writing.
My experience with AdaptHealth has been absolutely horrible. I would never willingly choose this company again, and I strongly recommend that other patients think twice before dealing with them.

it’s not my job to provide constructive feedback for your company.
I’m done trying to get the doctor ordered equipment that I need to BREATHE from this horrible company ADAPT.
I’ve contacted DPH for guidance on where to submit my complaints (7 so far) about your operating practices within the state of Connecticut and guidance on where to submit my complaints at the Federal level.
Have the day y’all deserve!

Unresolved problem
Have been in contact with this company (Burlington nc office) many times regarding a bill that was billed incorrectly. I have talked to several different people and they always say they will call me back but never do. I always have to follow up and they still haven't resolved my issue. Very frustrated with them overall.

Poor customer service
I am diagnosed with cluster headaches, as a result my neurologist prescribed oxygen as needed for episodes of the headaches. Oxygen has been proven to be effective. Adapthealth reached out to me to see if I wanted the oxygen, quoted $42 copay a month. I was unsure at the time if I could afford it, being on a fixed income and expressed my concern. Adapthealth told me to think about it and to call back. I did not call back, they called me 2 days later, rather pushy reps telling me I needed it.I explained that the oxygen was not medically necessary, that I had no respiratory issues and that they should see that from the diagnosis. I don’t believe the reps have any medical background. I agreed to give it a trial. It was delivered on the 19th of June. The did not deliver the right equipment, they brought a nasal cannula instead of a mask. No instructions or set up, basically left the equipment in my garage. In July I received a bill for $63. My payments were set up as autopay without me being aware. I immediately called to cancel and have the oxygen picked up. I was told I needed a doctors note for the equipment to be picked up or it would be AMA, against medical advise. I once again explained that the oxygen was only as needed and not medically necessary. They did not comprehend. I told them to do AMA and pick it up as soon as possible to avoid a new charge. They picked up all equipment on the 28th of July. I then realize they took $22 from my bank account Aug 3rd. I called to inquire and requested the money be returned. I was told a supervisor would review and call me back. After 3 days I called back and had to go through the same discussions. I waited for a supervisor to call me back after 2 days they did and I was told I would not be refunded the $22. That was my charge for July. I argued the fact that I didn’t use the equipment and that I only had the equipment for one month plus a few days. No compassion, no refund. Bad customer service.
