Rent-to-own SCAM. My experience with Adapt Health beginning in December 2020 and went on for 6 months. I tried to enter that date on this review but was unable. Here we go. I needed a bi-pap machine and was referred to Adapt Health. I'd met all of my deductible and out of pocket for 2020. Blue Cross informed me the machine would be covered at 100%. I get a rental invoice from Adapt in February 2021 for $195 / month. They billed BCBS $1400 in December 2020 then said I was responsible for $195 month for 12 months. $2800 total for a machine that retails for $1500. I explained that I never agreed to a rent to own scheme. BCBS had approved 100%. For sake of simplicity and my blood pressure, I negotiated a one time payment of $400. I send $400 and they send me to a collection agency seeking the balance. I sued and won in small claims court. RUN, DON'T WALK. CROSS THE STREET, GET AWAY!!!!

Adapt health is absolutely horrible. They're billing department is in San Francisco CA. Nobody speaks English they also don't understand anything you say. I've had adapt health for oxygen but my O2 is 99% so I don't need oxygen so I turned in my tanks. The guy that came out to pick up the tanks stated that adapt health wanted me to sign an AMA. Oh hell No I'm not signing. I'm not going against medical advice. Adapt health tries to intimated you and that's not going to work with me. My doctor already told me I have no need for oxygen. Adapt health is the worse company you could go through for oxygen. You can buy a nebulizer at any drug store and you can buy your own 02 at a lot of drug stores or Amazon. Don't be fooled by these companies.

They continue to call me and telling me that my insurance isn't covering my CPAP machine. Which I know my insurance is. And I had to go to the extinct of blocking the number because they can't take the hint that I know my insurance is covering it.

This company is a disaster! They obviously have no systems to keep track of who they’ve spoken to in the last three days and are over the top bothersome. In 3 days I’ve had four conversations with members of their team calling me to confirm. Wait for it my address, my phone number my email address and my birthdate Four times because they’re sending me out one device that I’ve already used before. Each time I let them know one their colleagues had already gone thought the information with me. But no like a broken robot they had to go through it all again! If you want to spend hours on the phone talking to poorly trained customer service agents this is the company for you!

This company is terrible when it comes to communication with patients. I have sent at least five emails regarding an email about being billed from almost a year ago. One year ago I had met my deductible and would not have had to pay for my CPAP supplies. They just sent two bills and when I questioned why I was receiving a bill, the representative could not answer my question. She said she did not know and a supervisor would contact me. I have not heard anything from them but did receive yet another bill for supplies I did not order

This company is exactly what is wrong with the medical community. I have a prescription for supplies for a BiPap machine. They absolutely price gauge. The costs they charge are five and in some cases six times higher than if I was just to order them myself. They are gauging the insurance company and then gauging me for the rest. My advice, order them on Amazon. Set up a reoccurring shipment

I would not recommend your company or any of your products. Clearly the Worst company I have encountered. From beginning to my last and final payment. Please do not share my information with anything associated with this company.

Worst company to deal with. Impossible to speak directly to anyone, always need to leave message. They outsource calls to forgein country that are diffucult to understand. Took 10 months to receive new wheel chair. discovered order was never placed. Cushion was never ordered, waited another 3 months for correct cushion. Since being acquired by Adapthealth they are the worst.
