Unlike any other medical firm, they don't take insurance into account when quoting you pricing and getting you set up on equipment. They tell you supplies are free as long as you stay in compliance. They tell you only $98 upfront. And none of that is based on any kind of fact. They take your credit card info then hit you with literally four digits' worth of extra charges once you're a few weeks in to using the equipment. It's unethical, it's uncool, and it's a terrible business practice. Total bait and switch. I do not recommend AdaptHealth or Roberts Home Medical to anyone. Not to mention the terrible condition of the RHM office when I picked up my equipment. Felt like a hoarder situation, dirty and gross.

Adapthealth is one of the worst companies I've ever had to deal with. The providers don't understand the meaning of "patient care" and don't consider the needs of the patient when dealing with complicated billing issues. I had to call customer service numerous times and each time had to deal with a rude, uncaring agent. My insurance agency had to get involved and Adapthealth was unwilling to cooperate. I had a miserable experience and want to prevent anyone from making the same mistake I did. Use someone else, especially for CPAP equipment and supplies.

Do not use this company I had to change insurance in December of 2024 because I lost my job and after paying all year long and a balance of $12 they are now saying I owe $850 for the machine because the agreement was with another insurance company, why would I have to pay for this device twice. This is unethical and robbery. Would highly recommend you do NOT use this company!!!!

i picked up my cpap machine and was charged 144.00 and was told i would be billed $6 a month for rental fees.The machine did not work for me so i returned it a week later and to my surprise i was charged $44 the next day I called Adapt and they returned the money after staying on the phone for almost an hour. I still do not know why they charged me.

New machine. Charged $214.93 to credit card even though Medicare and supplement paid in full and said I should pay nothing. Spoke with Shaquan on 2/9 at 855-285-4988. Call recording #40493992. He said that the funds were unapplied and would not be refunded unless I called and requested a refund. I did and he ordered refund. Called today and spoke to Divine. She said refund was not approved yet and hung up on me. If you must deal with them, don't give them your credit card number. Trying to get Medicare to look into Medicare fraud.

Waited for 2 months to get a new cpap machine. They kept saying they didn't get the info from the doctor's office, but the doctor's office said they sent the info multiple times. They are extremely difficult to get ahold of. They're customer service department is back east somewhere, not even in the same state let alone the same building. They is no way to talk with the manager. I can't wait any longer to get the new cpap machine since my current one already malfunctioned once. Do not do business with this company or you'll be sorry.

The only time Adapthealth will call me is when they are trying to sell me supplies. Twice I've seen Chest Medicine, and twice I've been told that Adapthealth would call to schedule an appointment. The first time Chest Medicine told me to give Adapthealth two weeks to call and - if they did not call - to let them (Chest Medicine) know. I waited about four weeks before calling Chest Medicine to let them know Adapthealth was not reaching out. I finally saw Adapthealth, but they were not able to help me with my CPAP machine (which I am not blaming them for). In any event, I again saw Chest Medicine in August of 2024, and the doctor said he would change my prescription for my CPAP machine. He told me I would again need to be seen by Adapthealth and that they (Adapthealth) would call to schedule an appointment. Said call from Adapthealth never happened. I called Chest Medicine to tell them Adapthealth had not called. The woman I spoke with said she would call Adapthealth and that I would hopefully get a call from them that same day. That was at least two months ago and no call has been forthcoming. I had to cancel my February 2025 appointment with Chest Medicine as I have not been seen my Adapthealth. It is frustrating as I cannot obtain life insurance without having a functioning CPAP machine.

Called to have a hospital bed picked up because our love one passed away. automated system said i would be on hold for 4 minutes and one customer was ahead of me. 16 minutes later the phone went back to the directory. I entered my number for a call back that never came. Called back spoke with an agent that took my information on our loved one and was on hold for 28 minutes. i called back again and asked to speak with a manager, there is non. on hold again and told that the bed would be picked up between 8:30-5:30pm the driver would call when he was 30 minutes out. Our love one passed away we have to go to the funeral home, make arrangements and this was not supposed to be a big deal. I called at 4pm and was told they were coming between 3:30-5:30. I called at 6:00 to see if they were coming. spoke with after hours answering service @6:30pm and again at 7:10pm and was told each time they would call me back. At 7:30pm I missed the only call they ever made to me. The voicemail said the delivery was rescheduled for tomorrow. We need to handle our affairs, make arrangements, make airport runs etc.. The bed is in our living room. A call, a caring soul, anything would have made things better. We didn’t get that.
