I keep getting a text message saying, they need more information from my doctor my doctor has sent information at least 4 times but they seem to not get them. This company is disgusting. You can't get ahold of anybody that knows anything about what's going on and then they hang up on you. Whoever authorized this company to take over my healthcare needs needs to be fired. Every time I get in touch with this company, I leave with my blood pressure screaming, because I want to go there and grab somebody and shake them, they don't know how to do their jobs and they don't know how to treat patients. I wish this company nothing but the worst.

Not Patient Focused
I’ve been a patient using AdaptHealth for over five years, primarily for CPAP machines and supplies, and I’ve consistently encountered poor service and questionable business practices that appear profit-driven rather than patient-focused.
When insurance refills are permitted, I continue to be bombarded by AdaptHealth with calls and text messages pressuring me to reorder the maximum insurance-covered quantity of CPAP supplies—even when I don’t need them. I have complained to my pulmonologist about this aggressive behavior. Unfortunately, there seems to be little my doctor’s office can do, as they’re contractually tied to this supplier.
Once an order is placed, the pressure temporarily stops, but timely delivery is far from guaranteed. Orders are routinely delayed and, more recently, canceled without meaningful explanation. It’s also frustrating that they refuse to source original equipment manufacturer parts if a lower-cost, third-party alternative exists—even if I offer to pay the difference out of pocket.
In the past seven months, I’ve placed two supply orders. The first was abruptly canceled two months later due to a claim of “noncompliance,” alleging I wasn’t regularly using my CPAP machine. That was simply untrue—I use it faithfully, even for short naps. After pushing back and placing another order, I faced a nearly identical situation: the order languished for months and was again threatened with cancellation. A representative demanded I immediately send a compliance report from my device—while I was at work, with no prior guidance on how to do so. Although I promised to (and did) send the report later that evening, the order was canceled anyway.
This pattern of disregard for patient needs and inflexible, opaque processes leads me to strongly recommend exploring alternative suppliers. I no longer wish to do business with AdaptHealth.

Billing
They did not bill insurance. They billed my credit card 2 times for 350.00
I called several times got no help from them. My insurance carrier had to interviene, they also had difficulty. Had to file a dispute with my credit card. Still waiting results. Very poor customer service.

Terrible
Wow, they are bad. Delivery time went from 10 minutes to 1hour then 3 then 5 hours. Ordered from Walmart and got in 20 minutes. These jerks delayed my release from nursing home by 3 hours. If I had waited on them, I would have been delayed by 6 hours.

Bill was paid and they still continue to Bill me and with late charges.
I received a bill for services that were paid by my insurance company I cannot convince these people that this was paid. I have even sent them my EOB which they will not even look at. I have went back and forth with these people for the past year. They do not want to listen to you. They just keep saying I owe this money well finally last October a lady told me that it was taken care of and gave me a reference number I thought all was done. Well I get another bill in the mail and late charges I contact them again I go round and round with them I said this was taken care of here's the reference number totally oblivious they could care less I said I have my EOB from the insurance company where this was paid they could care less I have had so many problems with these people I have tried to make sure that my CPAP supplies do not go through this company and I see there's a lawsuit going on with this company it looks like in North Carolina so stay away from them.

Customer service isn't helpful at all
Customer service isn't helpful at all. Can't answer questions or make recommendations. Got the feeling she didn't like her job.

Both my wife and I have each received…
Both my wife and I have each received an email regarding reordering CPAP supplies and to date we have each received a reminder email plus are now receiving phone calls. I think this is a bit of over kill.

Fraudulent charges? AdaptHealth charges customers a rental…
AdaptHealth charges customers a rental fee for paid products because they can only bill insurance monthly. Getting a person to disclose this took several phone calls and having to interrupt the customer service person who was apparently instructed to avoid my question as to what a the rental fees were for. In addition, I called my insurer who was charged over $500 for supplies? This company is disreputable and if they are billing my insurance over 3 months, abusing the Medicare systems.
