I had a stoma revision at the end of May and a hernia repair. Which change the supplies I would normally get from adapt. I tried to change the type of appliance due to changes in my physical being. And I’ve been waiting for three months for adapt to send me Different Supplies. calling on a daily basis since I got my new prescription for Ostomy supplies I’m now left with nothing. The Customerservice people lied to you and tell her your orders been sent when it hasn’t been talk about not having a pot to pee in this, this is worse.

Invoice after Invoice - Too Much Trouble for the Fees
I feel the employees are trying to serve their patients; however they are not supported by the company in either information nor structure.
They are stuck in a system that is failing.
I've finally gotten so fed up with the entire mess that I have shipped the ResMed C-Pap machine, humidifier, case, hose, un-opened new hose, un-opened air filters, etc. back to Camp Hill, PA.
It took me speaking with 8 people and 58 minutes just to verify the receipt of my return, when I can expect a credit, and how much it will be.
Dealings with this company start out fine, everyone is very helpful and comforting.
The insurance billing is explained as a "rental" agreement and usually runs from $10 USD to $15 USD depending on your individual coverage.
Okay, I can come up with that, it's like leasing a vehicle, I get it.
Then the invoicing starts...
A fee for the C-Pap machine
A fee for the humidifier
Fees for the supplies (NOT itemized)
I received emailed invoices that turned out to be "estimates", several each month.
This is before they actually billed through my insurance to know the correct amount to charge on each invoice.
This leads to confusion and frankly, slight panicking thinking AdaptHealth is going to invoice me more than $100 USD each month!
After being nickeled and dimed to within an inch of my sanity, I've had enough!
I've mailed the whole thing back, purchased my own machine and am just trying to find out how much my credit will be and when I can expect it.
AdaptHealth's business plan seems to be based on the compartmentalize and cut out communication model.
Again, individuals are doing their best to help. I do not envy them the myriad of irate patients they must deal with on a daily basis.
Work with your pulmonologist and physicians to find another (any other) company to work with.
I went through CPaPXchange and found a machine for less than $250 USD and a knowledgeable staff that can answer queries without transferring you to five other departments.
Dealing with breathing and sleep issues is stressful enough, DON'T compound your issues dealing with AdaptHealth.
A VERY unsatisfied consumer, LS King

I had the worse experience with receiving my refund for cpap supplies
I had the worse experience with Adapthealth in June 2025. My Cpap doctor ordered a new cpap machine with auto settings, so the supplies that was in route to me was not compatible with the new machine so I had to return it UPS. I tried to give the supplies to the representative when I picked up my new machine with supplies. He said to just hold on to the old supplies and use it as a back up on my old machine and I would not be charged for it. Needless to say my account was charged and I sent an email to billing and ended up calling the billing department who transferred me to the resupply department. The man I spoke with told me to go ahead and send the old supplies back since it was not opened and he sent me a UPS return label via email. I had no problem sending it back. The problem came when my refund never reached by account. I was told it would take several weeks. When I called to ask questions, I gave the requested information from my UPS confirmation slip. I was told the package had reached the warehouse but it would take another 6 to 8 weeks before by refund would be processed. I called today August 12, 2025 and spoke with a lady in billing and she said she didn't have any information and I told her there should be notes in the system on my previous calls. She put me on hold several times and told me there was a note back in June 2025 but she needed my UPS confirmation. I told her that information should be documented in the notes and she said she would need to escalate my case to someone else and it would take another 10-15 days. I was not able to find my UPS receipt. This experience has been exhausting and I probably won't receive my refund.

36 Days of Frustration
36 Days of Frustration – Avoid StorkPump & Adapt Health if You Value Your Sanity
My experience with StorkPump and Adapt Health has been a nightmare from start to finish.
At the hospital, my doctor signed my breast pump order and told me to send it to the number at the top of the form. I did exactly that and expected the pump to arrive within a week. A week later, I checked — nothing had arrived. That’s when I found out they had my insurance information wrong.
It took at least six back-and-forth calls and far too many wasted minutes before they “fixed” it. Their process is outdated and clumsy. You can’t simply update information online or securely over email; instead, they insist on faxing documents like it’s the 1980s. I understand PHI concerns, but there are encrypted and secure methods that are faster and more reliable. Insisting on faxing is not just outdated — it’s a sign they are behind the times and don’t value customer experience.
When I finally got past that, they told me to pick a pump. I chose one and was told it would arrive in three days. A week later — nothing. When I called, I was told they didn’t even have that product in stock. Why would your agent offer it in the first place if it’s unavailable?
I canceled and placed another order. Again, they promised three days. Again, I waited a week with no delivery. When I called, I got the same excuse: “backordered.” Canceling that order took another four days.
Now, 36 days later, I’m still without a breast pump and faced with the choice of either starting over with them, finding another company through my insurance, or taking legal action.
This process has been exhausting, unprofessional, and completely lacking in care for new mothers who are already under enough stress. If you value your time, your sanity, and your ability to get essential equipment when you need it — look elsewhere.

Customer Service and New CPAP Machine Issues
Had to get a new CPAP machine so my Dr. sent me to Adapt Health. Place was extremeldy hard to find with little signage. However, the new machine which is RESMED is horrendous. Woman said it is difficult and can cause air leaks so "slam the water chamber in". Well that doesn't always work and in the middle of the night the air leak from the machine goes off and wakes my husband. Dr. said to go back and that took forever as Adapt Health doesn't make it easy. Customer service is horrific and they should not be in business. GO ELSEWHERE. This is 4 months later and still having issues to no avail. No Dr. should be contracting with them if possible.

******Adapt health is the worst*******
Adapt health is the worst company. If you are reading this please stop payment to them on any credit card they have on file. They lie, cheat and steal. They use fraudulent billing practices that will steal your money. I was in the process with them of debating a charge on my account and they told me my billing was placed on suspend for insurance review. They billed me even with my billing placed on suspend for insurance review. Please try and find a different provider they billed me for a humidifier on my CPAP machine 241.98$. When I asked them how this can I remove this and send it back to get a refund they said you can’t it’s part of the machine.

This review is for online and the call…
This review is for online and the call center. If their is another company as an option you should go with that choice. The app that they have does not work. They set up payment plans but then just get rid of them. Than you call to set it up again and they just charge the whole amount like you never set up payment plan. The call center is not friendly and not helpful. Cannot find your invoices set up payment plans that do not work and offer no assistance or help.

Unprofessional experience
Went in to get a face mask for my spouse. The woman behind the counter was extremely rude. I understand it may not have been her job and if she normally doesn’t do that, she needs to get someone who can handle the job. I spent over an hour in there. On top of that…she said pretty loud the details of my spouses account. When I talked to her supervisor about this she just said there and smiled. I do believe that is a HIPPA violation. These people are very unprofessional
