Find out before accepting DME from Adapt Health.
My father received a hospital bed via Medicare through Montgomery Medical, an Adapt Health company. We were informed that the arrangement was a 13-month rent-to-own. After 13 months, the bed is ours, which means that when the motor stopped working in month 15, we were informed by the vendor that they would not service the bed. After numerous calls to Medicare, Montgomery Health, and a week-long effort to find someone who would service the bed (take note other suppliers do service hospital beds beyond the rental period but only if they supplied the bed) i'm still trying to get the bed serviced. It's been over two weeks now i've been trying to get the bed repaired. it's getting progressively more difficult to help Dad in/out of bed since the bed won't go up/down. I don't know if the service policy is Adapt Health or Montgomery Medical, but you'll want to find out before accepting any durable medical equipment from Adapt Health. I suggest you stay as far away as possible from Montgomery Medical Equipment in Plymouth Meeting, PA.
