Aggressive, Deceptive, Preys on Customers
I feel compelled to warn anyone considering AdaptHealth’s services about several troubling practices I’ve encountered. First, the company bombards you with supply‑replacement reminders far more often than the manufacturer’s schedule recommends. What feels like daily “need to restock” emails is not only unnecessary; it comes across as a deliberate tactic to push extra purchases. Second, their billing system is opaque and, at times, outright deceptive. If you change health insurance providers—a decision outside your control—AdaptHealth resets your rental payment period without clear notification. Even after they promised to correct a charge, the same erroneous bill reappeared, leaving me to chase down their outsourced billing department repeatedly in an almost monthly ritual. The whole process feels designed to rely on customers’ willingness to tolerate confusing, unexplained fees. Overall, my experience suggests a pattern of aggressive upselling and negligent billing that seems aimed at exploiting customers who don’t scrutinize each charge. If you value transparency and fair treatment, I strongly advise looking elsewhere.
