I have been trying to locate them by phone more than 3 weeks now. And the response is not acceptable. I need oxygen supply and they keep telling me to contact another company,while they're still responsible for my supplies. By 4:30 they stop answering their phone,when you call them you have to wait for an answer and the phone hung up. They don't care about their customers.

Hateful ignorant people we're forced to speak to. Phones ring endlessly and often go unanswered. No one returns emails or phone calls. Incorrect information given. Crazy billing procedures. Money deducted from the bank on odd days each month and differing amounts. In March I was debited once then sent an email for two more bills owed for March. This March email was the one and only emailed bill I ever received. I had to shut down my debit card to stop you from taking three payments in one month! With the exception of the very very nice equipment delivery man this is either an incredibly poorly run company or really just a run of the mill dishonest and uncaring entity.

My first time dealing with them was to get oxygen delivered so my mom could get released from the hospital. Kaiser's discharge planner requested my help since he wasn't getting any results. She had to stay at Kaiser 3 additional days due to their inability to get oxygen delivered. I am now on day 6 of calling repeatedly because my mom's oxygen concentrator failed. I keep getting told it's out for delivery yet it still has not been delivered. I'm spending hours on the phone calling and holding so far with no concentrator for my mom. The extra bottles are long exhausted so she's stuck with the large home model unless it develops a problem in which case the only alternative is the hospital or potential death.

Day 3 hours of wasted time waiting on a bed to be delivered. Same story 3 days in a row, on schedule for delivery today. I’m not sure if it’s normal or not but it’s annoying and a waste of time and energy.

We called before 8am for a new oxygen concentrator and to get back up tank filled. Called around 2pm and they said they had until 9pm. Called again at 825 pm said to wait until 9pm then call them back. Called back at 907pm they said it would be delivered between 10pm and 2am. Called at 2am they said probably would not be delivered until tomorrow. Meanwhile my husband is using a portable oxygen concentrator I bought and because he uses 4 liters of oxygen 24 hours aday he is struggling. Terrible service they better hot electricity does not go out.

Use any other DME for your supplies and equipment. If you use this company, you will regret it if you ever have to deal with their shady billing practices and their overseas billing teams. My local office is mostly good, however, the "overseas" billing department and customer service is TERRIBLE! I received my CPAP/ASV machine from them. With my insurance coverage, the rental period on the machine is 3 months and after this period if the patient is in compliance then the provider (Adapthealth) is supposed to submit a purchase agreement to convert the equipment from rental to purchase (meaning I own the equipment). My insurance has verified my equipment should have been converted and the local office confirmed as well. However, their over seas billing will not convert it. They continue to bill my insurance (Medicaid) and last month the overseas billing rep at Adapthealth flat out told me that they "don't care what the contract says." And that they have a document that says they can bill until June 2026. This "document" he was referring to was the Pre-authorization form for the equipment. So apparently these people working in medical billing have no clue what a pre-authorization form is actually for and think that they can use that as a billing term. I have been trying to get this corrected since Feb, since it should have been converted Jan 9, 2026 based on my signed contract with the company. I have filed a formal grievance against Adapthealth with Medicaid for these shady billing practices.

I’m the proud daughter of Sylvia Phillips, who is stuck at Kaiser Oakland because Adapt Health has failed to deliver her hospital bed. She had a brain hemorrhage on February 25 and has been in the hospital since February 26. We’ve been waiting since Wednesday for the bed to be delivered so that she can be discharged. The bed was ordered on this past Monday at the 16th. It was supposed to be delivered on Wednesday the 18th. Wednesday, I heard nothing from the company, but I did try to contact them and they said they couldn’t give me a time window or a time when to expect a delivery, but would be there by 9 PM. Yesterday the bed was supposed to be delivered first, so I was told that I couldn’t get a timeframe then I was given a timeframe first I was told 2 o’clock then 4 o’clock then hospital RN Takiyah called them and they told her 7 o’clock. Then I called again when 7 o’clock passed and they said it would be there by 9 pm. At 8:30 PM, I packed up my stuff and came to the hospital because I don’t want my mother to think that abandoned her. I called adapt again this morning at 7:57 am because I was previously told that the drivers get their delivery assignments at 8 AM every morning. The driver keeps padding the delivery driver George has been padding the delivery records with lies stating he’s been trying to reach me on her phone number which has not left my side. I spoke with a supervisor at a deck, who said she was gonna look into it and get it back to me but that was at 8:01 today 3-20-26. This company has horrible ratings online, and is known for their inability to provide service services in a timely fashion. My mother Sylvia Phillips is a member of the Tuskegee University alumni class of 1968 and proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated, should be celebrated and not treated this way. She was a civil rights activist during the 60s from Montgomery, Alabama. She was involved in both marches from Selma to Montgomery. She Participated in many lunch counter sits in downtown Montgomery. She marched on Washington. She was a Social worker and child support caseworker for over 20 years with Alameda County. She was a foster parent for over 15 years, mentoring several women who have become successful business owners and doctors and managers. She should be celebrated and not treated like this. I’ve started reaching out to news networks and the Bay Area because I have been given the runaround for the last three days.
