AcratechReviews of acratech.net

I purchased the Acratech by recommendations from the National Parks at Night photography group. It replaces a heavy Manfroto head that failed on me in Hawaii during a Milky Way shoot. I purchased the Acratech prior to a photography workshop in Chicago. I love it. Light, dials are easily gripped during cool evening. easy to use and gimbal function is fluid! Highly recommend.

Perfect! Really light weight. Does exactly what is claimed.

I have recently purchased a number of Acratech products for my tripods including a couple of ballheads, panoramic heads, levelling base and nodal rail. All these components are beautifully made and are of the best quality. As a company, Acratech are great to deal with too. When I made a number of individual orders, each with its own postal charge, the company staff contacted me and advised that they were bundling items together in one package so as to save postage costs. I reside in Australia and the saving was considerable. They refunded that saving to my PayPal account. The great quality of the products plus the company's great service deserves my highest recommendation. Another plus is the products are manufactured in the USA!

Great Products and awesome customer support!

I’ve dealt with this company several times. I have emailed them questions. Each interaction has been positive and they are responsive. Each order has arrived quickly and correct. I would not hesitate to recommend them

I had the RRS TFC-34 MK2 which is the tripod without a bowl connection on the top so I needed a leveling base (1170) that would work on top of the tripod with a panoramic head (1165) and nodal rail (1135). I spoke with Patty from Acratech and she researched my question and let me know it would work so I ordered those three items. She also explained that they had an updated clamp for the Panoramic Head and recommended I wait a few days for those to be manufactured. I agreed with her advice and was pleasantly surprised when she called me back to let me know they had the new style clamp and would ship all items a week early. You can expect great and friendly service from Acratech. By the way the 3 components work very well on my RRS tripod.

I have never had anything from Acratech that was not top notch and a pleasure to use in the field.I am often in remote areas and I need to know my equipment will not fail me.

Great products!
