I just want all to know that I purchased a Timex time clock from Ace Depot. Before it arrived my boss had decided to go another route in our time keeping needs. When the time clock arrived I promptly called for a Return Authorization number. I have no issue with a restocking fee, in that, it was purchased in my error. Over a 6 month period I called repeatedly about getting a credit for the balance of my payment for the return. I had proof that is was returned. That was approximately 3 - 4 years ago. If I could personally run Ace Depot out of business, I would. In my entire career I have never had a worse experience.

The Owner Knows Nothing About Customer Service
I ordered a money counting machine Cassida 6600, but they were out of stock so they sent a comparable brand, which I did not like. The return and refund process took over 3 months with multiple voice messages left for the owner. Never received any correspondences so finally had to contact credit card company to receive refund. Never again!

Do not deal with this company
DO NOT BUY ANYTHING from Ace Depot or Acedepot.com. It took me almost one month to get a refund from them after I ordered a brand new paper shredder and they sent me a reconditioned shredder that had the registration card partly filled out. They refused to have it picked up and said that I would have to take it to UPS myself and pay to have it shipped back. After a constant array of phone calls they finally agreed to have it picked up and each day that I called they claimed UPS would be there that day. Two weeks later that finally happened.. There is an old expression that states “ The fish stinks from the head”. In this case the head belongs to the President and owner of Ace Depot, Ace Depot.com, Letterfolders.com and Poppop Productions. If a mistake was made and a used or refurbished shredder was sent by mistake there would have been no problem exchanging it for a brand new unit but this was obviously no mistake and the owner never apologized once in all the times I spoke with him. STAY AWAY AND DO NOT GET DUPED.

Poor quality control and lies in answer to review
I ordered refill ink from ace depot which arrived late, in an opened box and missing items. I left a negative review in regards to the packaging because I felt that a package like that shouldn't have been sent out like that. Be aware that Ace depot asks that you contact them before leaving a bad review. They did contact me to try and resolve the issue but I felt for the amount that they charged for the item and shipping didn't warrant correspondence. I kept the ink. I now look on their reviews and their response to my review was that they contacted me, gave me a full refund and sent another ink package. THEIR RESPONSE IS A BLATANT LIE......THEY DID NO SUCH THING!!!!

I think there is some miscommunication. We had offered to replace your item and issue a refund. See below from email I sent you. I never ended up hearing back from you. Take a look:
Our sincerest apologies, it appears you received an incomplete item! I just left you a voicemail, but as I mentioned, we can gladly offer you a full ITEM refund and a FREE replacement of the item at no extra charge to you. If you receive something different from what was ordered, all we ask for is a chance to help before going to feedback. Could you kindly reconsider the feedback? We would greatly appreciate if you could please remove this if you feel we are trying our best to be fair, and doing everything in our power, whatever we can, to rectify the issues and any inconveniences you may have suffered.

Please note: Even with the change in management, and striving daily to monitor our numbers and address customer concerns, not 100% of our orders go perfectly. However, please see some of the details I have provided below…
All we ask is you take a look at our legitimate reviews which can be viewed here:

FYI: We have been in business for over 23 years with over 400,000 customers with a complaint ration of .001. We stand by all our customers and would do nothing to jeopardize this.
Even still, if you feel Yelp or any other review website is a fair site to review a business that is not in the service-based industry but rather more centrally focused to online retail like Office Depot or Shoplet--please see this: http://yelp-sucks.com/. Furthermore, Yelp tends to attract customers ready to post negative reviews, and it is a fact. We have over 14,000 positive comments, but again there are those who focus on 18 negative reviews. Is that honestly fair?
Other such companies like this one and BBB require a paid membership to publicly defend ourselves. So even after resolving any issue, the rating still stands and there is NOTHING we can do about it unless we PAY UP. We know we’re not perfect. But, every company in America has negative posts. What determines the value of a company is how that company fixes the issues due to human error, which we strive to do on a daily basis. And to add to that, our positives FAR outweigh our negatives. I hope you can see this!
Here is a prime example:

I think you can agree that people normally do not go out of their way to post positives. I believe this is a perfect example as every comment is negative---is Comcast a bad company? No! Do they have millions of customers? YES! Their complaint ration is similar to ours about .0001%.
Regardless, we wouldn’t have such high scores on public marketplaces if we weren’t honoring our word:
Feedback History:
Feedback 30 days 90 days 365 days Lifetime
Positive 96% 97% 97% 93%
Neutral 0% 0% 1% 3%
Negative 4% 3% 2% 3%
Count 83 309 1,976 14,958
What do these mean?
All we ask is to be fair, because when searching for complaints--you will always find them. But what’s important once again, what you do not see, is that every single complaint is resolved and we do everything we can to prevent them in the first place. But we’re always here to help and ready to bend over backwards to serve our customers.

Worst Customer Service Ever!
I order a product in December of 2012 which I have never received. I have called and emailed a total of 25 times. I have been told that a check was in the mail, that the check was lost, that another check is being issued, that the booker is out, that it was credited already but they cant send me a copy and I still haven't received a refund in the amount of $696.69. This has been the worst customer service ever.

Just wanted to touch base as this check was issued but apparently a signature was missing. We need to reconcile before we can re-issue a new check. Regardless, we're trying to get this whole mess straightened out for you. Please call us: 800.844.0962 so we can bury the hatchet once and for all.
