I have watched two videos and read materials, and they are very helpful and fantastic.
I have managed to submit my first paper to a Scopus-indexed journal for review within one month.
As I wait for feedback, I have embarked on second paper

The interaction with my mentor/coach…
The interaction with my mentor/coach was great. He gave me useful feedback with overall impression of my paper and detailed feedback to each sentence.
The community of other students and coaches are supportive and encouraging. We share wins and struggles. The community gave me good tips and advises when I was struggling with continuing writing.
I wish I chose better timing of starting the program. I started toward the end of 1st year in PhD program. My PhD program was too busy to attend any of coaching calls and online meetings. I wish I started during 3rd year when I am on my own to carry out the dissertation writing.

Worth every revision! Published Researcher helps you grow as a writer
My writing coach was incredibly patient and supportive, even when I felt like I was making the same mistakes repeatedly (there's a funny saying in my culture - "Repetition teaches even a donkey!" - that perfectly captures the feeling, haha). The feedback I receive is always tailored to my specific goals and writing style. It wasn't just generic advice; it was clear my coach took the time to understand my work and offer insights that truly resonated.

AEN - great experience
I had been searching for something like ‘Academic English Now’ for years and finally found it in 2023. I've been a member for a year now, and there's no doubt that it has helped me improve my English writing!
The service includes being assigned a coach and having the opportunity to join several 1-hour calls each week, where you can ask questions and discuss matters related to academic writing in English. Additionally, there are so-called master classes where invited speakers discuss specific themes, such as what an editor looks for in submitted articles. There are also numerous videos covering ‘how-to’ aspects of writing, such as productivity tips, overcoming procrastination, and writing a discussion section in a paper. While these topics aren't necessarily new and can be found in other guidebooks for students, the great thing is that they are presented in a more personal way, which serves as a common frame of reference for the weekly calls.
You also have the option to send written text to your coach, who will correct it and explain the corrections. That part was absolutely the best for me, and my coach was great (perhaps a bit too busy, though).
A community of students surrounds AEN. As a faculty member who needed to improve my writing in English, I found many of the discussions in the calls a bit basic, but I understand that these discussions might have been very helpful for the many PhD students. My interests were more focused on the English language side. I had also hoped for a more critical approach and less of an uncritical, anglocentric/'international' perspective. The members come from all over the world, which is absolutely great. Unfortunately, this was almost never reflected in the discussions.
A small note, but important to me, is that the ownership behind AEN is unclear, as is how the coaches are selected or what their qualifications are. AEN is also a very young company, which comes with its own set of advantages and disadvantages. The advantages include the team's enthusiasm, the ability to suggest ideas, and the sense that ‘we are in this together.’ The disadvantages are that things don't always run as smoothly as they could, AEN tries to cover all academic disciplines (which is, of course, impossible) and thus lands in a very general middle, and that the balance between the English language part and the academic writing part hasn't quite found its optimal equilibrium.

Great tool.
Academic English provides solid advice on the PhD process and designs various templates quite useful for using in your own structure. Text revisions are extremely helpful. Thanks from my end.
