I have multiple store cards with Comenity Bank, but the Sony Visa card is what I am having the most issues with right now. So I used my card because of the rewards you get with Sony. I ended up getting lots of money off of PlayStation stuff for my son because of my card use. So I decided to continue to pay off my card multiple times and use it to rack up on rewards points. Guess what, Comenity didn’t like that so well so they suspended my credit card with no notice. I went to use it and get declined. I also haven’t received any rewards for 3 weeks. When I called to find out why, I was told it was for my protection! Really? Then I was told, they believed check kiting was an issue. I quickly pointed out, all my check payments had cleared my bank account. It had been 3 weeks since my last payment. I offered my bank statements and bank phone number. They said no, we don’t want it. Then I pointed out that I had NEVER bounced a check payment with their company or any company and I had multiple accounts they could check. They told me, they could see that, but I needed to stop making so many payments to my Sony card and over using it. Wow, so they prefer you charge it up once and pay the minimum balance each payment! No, thank you. They were rude and honestly treated me like a criminal. My credit is amazing and I have never been late on anything. I am also a small business owner and would never treat my clients that way. I plan to pay off every card I have with Comenity over the next 6 months and close them completely. I currently have cards with Capital One and Chase that I wasn’t using, so I will definitely be using them now instead. I also just got an Apple Card with a $5,000 limit and they have some nice rewards too. Pretty sure they won’t penalize me for “making too many payments” on my account. Do not open anything with Comenity bank...I don’t care how good the rewards look. They are a joke! I will close every account I have with them and will NEVER have dealings with them again!

Be careful consumers in closing out your account with fullbeauty and woman within under the comenity bank. they will continue to bill you without your knowledge. you will end up with a large sum of money at the end without having purchasing one item. online shopping was ok until comenity bank took over their contract. Join me in closing out all your accounts that are under the name of comenity bank! a couple representative was nice and waived but the others refused.

I have a LOVELOFT Credit Card account issued by Comenity LLC. I recently placed an online order, used my $20 reward for store pickup and the store cancelled it. When I contacted the Comenity customer service, they said they will not going to re-issue my $20 reward, not even statement credit. The following is the response I received - "Once the reward is redeemed it is no longer available for use nor can be replaced. When you place an order and use the reward, it is only valid on one purchase and if the item is returned the the reward is no longer valid."

(the company behind your store cards) I had a paypal, amazon, and wal-mert CC line. amazon I wound up paying off. paypal and walmart wanted more than was on the account charged up and refused to settle. I fought ppal for over a year and then they played games with me and two merchants. ppal isnt a bank- isnt authorized for anything but "transfering" money. AKA someone wants it and you have an account tied to ppal- so they steal it, even against your wishes- then frezze not only your account, but hit up the merchant as well--so you get it from both ends. I knew one of the merchants personally- he didnt seem to have issue- but anveo DID. terminated my account until this was fixed(chargeback). chargebacks are normal reversals that consumers are allowed in rare circumstances to stop auto billing accounts. when this doesnt work- consumers are forced to change cards. (more hell for the consumer) conpanies are treating this (ppal, etc) as if a chargeback is FRAUD- as if the consumer stole from them when they didnt. card agreements even allow for this reversal, its called "getting ones stolen money back". so unless ppal suddenly wants to go up against visa and mc- who made the policies in place and sue them outright(I doubt it) then they need to comply. PPal openly refuses and you cant get ahold of anyone in a normal business manner-everything is inside of a "system". Most lawyers would tell you to run away from this. ebay at this time forces you to use this processor. so when ppal screws you- they cut off ebay, anveo, and im sure other services you use in the process. theres a word for this: EXTORTION - and PPAl doesnt care. never reimbursed me, even thru comenity, my money. walmart was closed on basis of fraud- but pif- and still reports negatively on my credit and I never got the money. I got two weird amounts I told comenity to fix-thought they fixed this(or came close) and then they bounced the check I had in my hand. They want you to sue--when they refuse to pay. comenity dba a BofA customer according to thier check. so all this push push at the store to sign up is to get you as a BofA sub client. card is not worth the hassle- even IF you had the credit to get it. forcing consumers to sue when they are owed less than the lawsuit amount is becoming a standardized practice. SVEC in sequatchie valley uses this and computerized accounting- w no way of disputing the bill, even so far as not sending you your power bill until two months pass- to pull the same shenanigans with your deposit. THEY BOUNCE CHECKS. then banks want to look at you funny because your checks dont clear.

Hi there. Brutal!!! Comenity Bank that represented as "Hot Topic Guest List Credit Card" charging you $27 late fee if pay one day or more late. They said OK for me over the phone but still charged me a fee, later they also charged another one, waived one (waiving one late fee for 18 months). For example, you spent $100 and paid late, they will still charge you $27 late fee (which is minimum in that case) Rip Off Alert!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
