They are fraudulent! I used my Rue21 card once for 18.09 paid off my balance over the automated system that I tried to get through to for 9 days once I finally did I was able to pay my bill in full. Received my statement and it said Thank You for your payment then 10 or so days later I got a letter stating I owed 38.00 even! For What! I was not late I paid my bill off! So I called waited 3 hours to get to a actual person who told me my check was returned because my account was frozen! Never had a frozen bank account went and got the proof and yet still have not heard back even sent my proof certified mail so I knew they couldn't say they did not receive it! They are stealing from all of us do not bank with them! Something fishy is going on with this company! By reading the other reviews I'm not the only one!

Don't do it! I had the worst experience with their sephora credit card. Their system has been updating for 6 months now. I got charged twice for a one time bill payment and they won't reverse the late fees, mind you I've never been late on any payments so I decided to close my account and pay the bill off in full...I'm done with this company..not to mention none of their representatives speak english..smh

Customer service is absolutely the worst and very rude! I accidently paid one month's bill twice, the first time was on time and the second was after the due date. I then went ahead and paid the next month's basically a month early, they froze my account until the next billing cycle. I spoke with multiple managers, even one with customer loyalty and was told nothing to do but wait. No apology no offer of incentive... nothing. I still shop at Burlington but not with that card. Paying off community cards and replacing them with rewards cards through BBB accredited banks. Also I was planning on keeping my Big Lots card in case of emergency. With no notice they closed my account and I am completely unable to reach anyone in customer service. I had a housefire recently, total loss. Would come in handy, but apparently I have to reapply and start over as a new account, no thanks I'll take the hit to my credit by losing length of credit over worrying about shady business.

Add my name to a long list of unhappy customers. Have been calling over and over to talk to someone in CSR to resolve a fraud issue. But I keep getting a busy signal or hung up on. I advise you to never, ever, ever open up a Comenity CC with one of their many merchants. I happen to have one from BJs and I am regretting it SO much now!

Comenity Bank took over my NFL Visa card from Barclay. When the change took place, four charges were duplicated...52.50, 216, 383, and 52.50. I obtained documentation from the NFL team that they said made the charges and the charges were never dropped...interest just kept accruing. This happened in April. There is no one to contact except for messages on their website. They continue to earn interest on fraudulent charges and there is no one to contact. No management at all. This bank is a scam. Based on all of the other reviews, this bank cannot stay in business very long. I am cancelling my account with this bank. Please keep me in the loop when the class-action lawsuit takes place.

I have no idea how this bank stays in business. I have a Sephora credit card. I have been trying to pay it online for over a week. Now it's late. The site is always down so today I tried calling them and their 1-800 number has a message saying that due to unforeseen circumstances, their office is closed today. Fine, but the online system has been down for a week as well so how can one pay a bill? I will be cancelling my Sephora credit card, obviously.

I've had 3 accounts with this institution. STAY AWAY FROM THEM. 1st account I financed my wife's dental work. I made over 24 payments on time. I paid it off early. 10 days later I was charged interest. ??? It wasn't much I paid it, let them know what I thought. 2nd time was with a Big Lots CC. I financed a chair, 6 months same as cash. After the 4th on time payment, I was charged a late fee. Dummy me I paid it then paid off the account. My wife took out a cc with a clothing store. We set up the 1st payment to come out when we get paid. It came out of our account, but recieved a nasty letter. Allegedly our payment was rejected, there was going to be late fees etc. There wasn't and won't be. Comenity tried to access the payment 7 days early. DUH ! RUN FROM COMENITY. You won't find a phone number to contact. E mails are jibberish etc. I'm done with Comenity.

On a monthly basis, they will send a denial letter (Even thou you never applied for credit with them) those causing one's credit score to wrongly plummet. Contact them about it, they refuse to do anything. So, anyone is looking to look for credit cards (I'm not; however, if I was, I would not deal with Comenity Bank even if my life depended on it) stay clear of them. Comenity Bank is not but a scam and they will do everthing they can to ruin your name even if you don't have an account with them!!!!
