Worst bank to have credit card. I paid off my account on what I owe. I mailed out the check from my bank and use post office flat rate to track my mail. It got to comenity bank 12/11/2022. A day before due date. They held my mail till after the monthly fee (monthly fee on 12/18/2022) Didnt show anything 9 days later (12/20/2022) charged me interest fee of 219 dollar and 40 dollar late fee. I scan the post office tracking information the date and time. And forward the copy of the purchase of post office flat rate and copy of bank statement check. Copy of tracking information. They just ignored all that. And saying I sent it to them late. I knew they were lying about it and just try to make money off of me. Big scam. They will keep doing it to everyone and it needed to STOP!!!!

Land's End is a reputable company, so I thought their credit card was safe. Instead, they sent me a bill for a $30 late fee. They delayed processing my paid in full check for item purchased at Land's End. I sent the check to Dallas from Louisiana so I know it reached them by their deadline. Yet, they waited over a month to deposit it so it reached my bank almost a month late. Not my fault but they sent a new bill with only their $30 late fee on it. Had to phone overseas customer service, bad connection. At first, she offered only half $15 refund. Why should I agree to that when I mailed my payment in their envelope a few days after receiving the bill? I said no to half and required full refund. Only name and ref. # provided, so I expect some BS based on other reviews. Don't let this scam credit card bank cheat you.

I had an account with this bank 2019 They have placed a 12,000 charge on my account for a payment I made already, because I filed a dispute on the charge, and they never credit it back during the dispute. The bank is a corrut as every agency in our governement. I have been dealing with this since nov 2022 and I am disablied and they are trying to steal an additional 12,000 from me. i have reported them to every agency possible, this company need with no doubt a class action suite.

Absolute clown car of a company. Just total cluster from beginning to end. AAA's decision to transfer over from BofA is absolutely shameful. After many back and forths with various iterations of customer service -- no call under an hour at international rates -- I have learned that they have closed my account on a whim, despite the fact that I have had the card for decades, have never missed a payment and am only carrying a small amount on it to maintain a credit presence. They didn't actually tell me they did this, either. I just found out when I tried to use it and it got declined (this was after it took me nearly 2 months, and three follow-ups to actually receive the stupid thing in the first place). Am planning to report them to the Consumer Protection Bureau. This sort of incompetence can have a genuine effect on individual credit ratings -- I got off easy with just several hundred dollars in phone bills. Based on other reviews, it looks like Comenity's incompetence has dinged credit ratings and cost other customers thousands of dollars in late fees. No discount is worth subjecting yourself to this level of grift. If the account paperwork says "Comenity" or "Bread Financial" at the top, bury it in cement and drop it into the Mariana Trench.

I am here to provide a PSA for anyone looking to use this bank’s services. I have never ever encountered a more dysfunctional organization. After 1.5h speaking with representatives and supervisors, they are unable to reason about a credit application for which they couldn’t verify identity but are not willing to allow me to verify identity either. They keep transferring people in a system that they blamed for having changed options that they do not know what they are. I have never seen anything like this before. Horrific customer services, do NOT use their services!

This company is a scam. Make sure you pay your card in advance. I paid my bill in full one day late ( the day the payment processed) and wasn't aware of the late fee they gave me for being one day late and ended up getting a bill for hundreds of dollars for a late fees for a late fee... Not until I got the collection notice. My fiance had a card and had his payments on auto pay and they processed his payment a day late each month to keep charging for late fees even though the balance is paid off...and the late fees are $39 dollars and up... STAY AWAYYYY

This bank is horrible. Paid my balance early but they did not post it...charged fees and interest. I have a AAA Travel Advantage card through them. I will NEVER use the card again. They do not accept EFT so my bank has to mail them a check. Comenity CANNOT be trusted.

Several months of trying to pay them unsuccessfully. There are numerous payment methods, none of which work. I finally called a rep, who processed my payment, only to be called by Comenity collections telling me my account is past due. It seems my payment is showing but not posting to which I was told, quite smugly, that "calls will continue until the payment is made". Screw you morons. If I didn't need the info for my credit report I'd close my BJs, Famous Footwear, Venus, Boscov's, etc. lines of credit. Called customer service with four issues - ZERO of them resolved! Way to go "BREAD"!!
