HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE HORRIBLE bank !!!!! they are out to get you and will take every chance they can to steal your money!!!!! I would be very careful with purchasing anything from Jared because they use this bank and I didn’t even know. Slapped a $3000 charge on me when I was almost paid off. The interest charge was more than half of what the total bill even was. Don’t ever use this bank or anyone associated with this bank.

DO NOT GET A CREDIT CARD FROM THIS COMPANY!!! You will most likely regret it if you do. I've been cussed out by their India rep in his native language, not English; and then hung up on by his supervisor. I wasn't rude at all, but merely giving a long and detailed explanation of what happened. Save yourself the headache. Go elsewhere.

Here is another bad review for this bank. If I could give 0 stars I would!! This bank is absolutely terrible! They decreased my Sephora credit limit because my points dropped a little and when I called to ask questions about it I was hung up on 5 TIMES! Finally got to a nice gentleman who helped me, so 5 stars to just him! I also found out today that they closed my GameStop credit card. I make a very decent amount of money, have never missed a payment, and have kept that card paid off shortly after use and they close my account??? Yeah because that’s not going to damage my credit. Terrible customer service and terrible policies. If capital one and all my other cards can remain open, why not the ones with this bank?? Do not, and I repeat, DO NOT waste your time with any account this bank offers. More on! There are better credit card companies out there if you need to build your credit!

Formal Complaint Regarding Torrid Credit Card Customer Service & Disability Discrimination To Whom It May Concern: My name is Chelsea Carter, and I am writing to file a formal complaint regarding the treatment I have repeatedly experienced from the customer service department associated with the Torrid credit card. I have experienced ongoing problems with the credit card account and extremely poor customer service. Each time there appears to be a system update or change, my AutoPay information is removed or my online account access is disrupted, forcing me to go through the process of setting everything up again. This has happened more than once and has created unnecessary frustration and difficulty. However, my experience today was unacceptable. I spoke with three different customer service representatives, and the way I was treated was some of the worst customer service I have experienced in approximately 40 years. I felt that the representatives repeatedly talked down to me, talked over me, belittled me, and did not allow me a fair opportunity to explain the problems with my account. I have a disability, and during these conversations I made it clear that the manner in which I was being spoken to and treated was offensive and was creating additional difficulty for me. Rather than showing patience, professionalism, or attempting to accommodate the situation, I felt that the representatives became even more disrespectful after I raised my concerns. I left these conversations feeling humiliated, belittled, and discriminated against because of my disability. No customer should be made to feel this way when contacting a company for assistance, particularly after communicating that they have a disability and are having difficulty with the interaction. Torrid chooses the financial institution and/or servicing company that administers its branded credit card, and that company's representatives ultimately affect the Torrid customer experience. For that reason, I am asking both Torrid and its credit card provider to take this complaint seriously. I am requesting that this matter be formally investigated, including a review of the recorded customer service calls from today, August 15, 2026, involving the three representatives with whom I spoke. Those recordings should provide an objective record of how the conversations were handled and how I was treated. I am also requesting: - A written response regarding the results of your investigation. - An explanation as to why system updates have repeatedly affected my AutoPay and/or online account access. - Confirmation of what steps will be taken to prevent these account problems from continuing. - A review of whether appropriate disability-awareness and customer-service procedures were followed during my calls. - Assurance that customers who disclose a disability are treated with dignity, patience, and respect. After this experience, I no longer feel comfortable doing business with Torrid or using its credit card. I have never felt this poorly treated by a company while simply attempting to obtain customer service. This complaint is not merely about an account or AutoPay problem. It is about how a customer with a disability was treated after specifically communicating that the interaction was offensive and difficult because of that disability. I expect this complaint to be documented, investigated, and addressed by the appropriate management or executive customer-relations departments for both Torrid and its credit card provider. Please provide me with a written response regarding this matter and the actions taken following your investigation. Sincerely, Chelsea Carter

The fees are beyond rip off, interest rates as high as legally (questionable) possible. Huge fees when “promotional” offers expire. Lender void of conscience
