This insurance company looks more like criminal scam. They do not provide any discounted insurance. Actually they are more expensive than any other insurance. AARP REALLY SCREW UP BY ALLOWING THEIR NAME AND REPUTATION BEING USED AS A SCAM

For years, I have played some of the Staying Sharp games and had three added to my favorites list. In January 2026, two of those games were no longer available. I called the help number twice and talked to two people requesting these two games be added. They promised to report it. When these two games were still not available, I wrote to the AARP address in Washington, D.C. on February 11, 2026. I have never received a response.

I haven't joined AARP in 4 years. I have requested no emails or mailings be sent to me. I needed help with a UHC reimbursement issue and I got ZERO help from AARP, although, they have an association with UHC and brag that they will assist you with any issue...that is a farce Stay away from AARP, they do nothing for you.

Lack of honesty and support with Rewards Program. Items provided are out of service or cannot be used. Had to speak with three people (the 2nd hung up on me) to find out that points earned over a long period of time cannot be given back when the Rewards Program doesn't work. Hell!! I asked for points back not money!! Very disappointed with the lack of help to remedy my concern. Also found out that many local restaurants and services don't support the AARP card and give discounts as they state. AARP demonstrates the lack of integrity dealing with the public. The only thing worthwhile is the magazine, and I found out that my local library carries it!! What do I need the membership for. I will be cancelling my membership.

Very disappointed with the Fraud Alert helpline. I spoke with a gentleman on March 6th. 2026 about a scam we suffered and I was told it was not their department. I wished to inform and warn about a grift, not that I needed any specific help. An off-putting experience.

AARP talks a good game, but I have yet to have consistent month delivery. First off, never got the magazine, only the bulletin when I did get it. After two calls I did receive the magazine, but maybe every 3 months do I get anything. I feel the magazine/bulletin has some valuable information in it, but let’s get the distribution on track please.

I payed for a year of subscription from AARP and never received any cards . All they did is bombard me with emails and texts. Now they are asking me to donate to help older people. I’m 71 years old. They cheat elderly people and then they expect donations.

Since the Hartford was associated with AARP, without checking other companies we signed up with them for Auto and Homeowners 10 years ago. Based on a recent unsolicited snail mail add my wife asked me to check costs for company sending mail. Upon doing so the quote I got for the same auto coverage was $130/mo. less than Hartford and ~$300/ year less for Homeowners with more coverage.
