I have begun an Aaptiv elite tier membership 4 days ago. Two days later, I received a notification that the monthly fee will increase 35%. No. Is this an across the board increase or are they targeting new members with a bait and switch?

Love their workouts, but couldn’t find out where to cancel the subscription in their app. I got charged $99 and it’s not even in my iTunes subscriptions. I ended up having to go to their website (which I didn’t even realize they had) after I googled. When I’m finally going through the cancellation process, the button to continue was a tiny link below the “I changed my mind” and “continue with subscription”. They then offered 50% of next year even though I already paid the full price for this year. I hate companies that try to trick me.

Because I am unable to understand any instructions other than for running without a single picture or video. I have seen so many people complaining the same but worst part is that aptive team is not even reacting to it. That's the reason i didn't opted for yearly subscription.

I signed up for the free trial with the app but didn't even use the App and deleted it. I've just been billed £90 for the year and I don't know how to go about getting a refund- I signed up from Apple but from what I've seen it's not up to Apple to authorise the refun.. I'm so stuck!! I haven't even used the App and I don't want to be billed £90 for the whole year

Hi Mike! We're happy to assist with a refund if you didn't intend to use the subscription after the trial period. Can you please shoot us an email at [email protected] so we can locate your account and proceed with the cancellation + refund? Also, please take a look at our FAQ page to ensure you did not sign up with Apple or Google: https://aaptivsupport.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360003515532-How-do-I-cancel-my-subscription-

Update: The company did return all the money within 24 hours after their comments below. I tried to cancel my subscription and get a refund and they refused to refund my money but gave me the year at 50% off. While trying to research their site on how to cancel it does not say you have to cancel prior to billing. It also says if you purchase through iTunes to work with them for a refund but no where does it say if you subscribed through the AAPTIV App they won’t refund full amount. It’s very misleading and sad that they won’t refund if you didn’t get a chance to use their app. We pay for future use and if I know your app isn’t what I want then you should refund...not keep my money

Hi Christina! Sorry for the issue. We will certainly work with you and issue a refund if you don't plan to use the app. We typically offer 50% off as an incentive to stick with us, but we know Aaptiv isn't for everyone, so we're happy to refund the payment if you won't use it. Feel free to reply to the agent with whom you were corresponding, or shoot us a new email with the details of your request and we'll take care of it. You can reach our team at [email protected]. Thanks!

I like the idea of the app. I didn't really use it too much in my 30-day trial but when I did I loved all the classes I took. Trying to cancel my subscription, on the other hand, has been a disappointment. The lack of customer service provided by Aaptiv was shocking. I have messaged 3 different ways with no response.

Hi Joseph, apologies for the delay! We're a bit backed up due to heavy volume right now, though we will definitely get back to you within 24 hrs. Your subscription was canceled. We will follow up with you over email as well. Thanks!

Terrible customer service and the music is awful, sorry, but seriously how can you sprint to pop! I am a sprinter and assumed this will boost my motivation, wrong! The music is all so wrong, if it states electronic music then at least choose fast beat music not Justin Timberlake!

Hey Thomas, thanks so much for the feedback on the music. Let us know if there are some other categories you'd like to see - we add 30-40 new songs each week and your feedback is super helpful for us as we curate the selection. Regarding the customer service, I'm terribly sorry for and trouble with your account. Can you shoot us a note at [email protected], Attn: Erin, and we'll get this sorted for you? Thanks!
Kate
I canceled my subscription by the date stated and there is a pending charge of $99 on my account. I would like for the transactions to be canceled and or refunded of the full amount. Please contact me so I know this is being resolved.
