LoanMart presented itself as willing to…
LoanMart presented itself as willing to provide a title loan, which I understood to be a collateral-based loan secured by my vehicle. Based on that understanding, I provided extensive personal information and moved forward with the application process. Unfortunately, my experience became very frustrating. After initially discussing a much higher loan amount, the final offer was reduced to less than 25% of the original amount. The explanation provided was vague and centered on my credit history, which was surprising because I was seeking a title loan, not a traditional unsecured personal loan. At no point did I believe I was authorizing a credit-based lending decision, nor was that clearly explained to me during the process. The entire experience left me feeling misled and pressured after having already shared sensitive personal information. Transparency is important when consumers are providing personal and financial details. If you're considering using LoanMart, I recommend asking detailed questions upfront about credit reviews, loan qualification criteria, and how final loan amounts are determined before providing your information. Be cautious and make sure you fully understand the process before sharing sensitive personal information. What started as a promising offer ended with a dramatically reduced loan amount and a disappointing customer experience.
