We purchased a modular sofa from 7th Avenue after hearing so many great reviews. We visited the showroom, loved the product, and decided to spend over $8,000 on what we expected would be a premium experience. Unfortunately, the customer experience has been anything but premium. First, for a sofa at this price point, delivery doesn’t include bringing the pieces in or assembling them. The sofa arrives in multiple FedEx packages that you’re expected to move yourself. We accepted that and even paid an additional $200 for their installation service. We were told an installer would contact us within 24–48 hours. I called on a Saturday to schedule, but no one ever reached out. After waiting, I had to call the company again, only to be told that it appeared the request had never been relayed to the installer. In other words, it was simply overlooked. The installer finally contacted me on Tuesday, only to say the earliest he could come was Friday—almost a full week after my original request. Mistakes happen, but what was most disappointing was how the company handled it. There was no apology, no accountability, and no offer to refund the $200 installation fee despite their own scheduling error. When customers spend over $8,000 on a sofa, they’re not just paying for the product—they’re paying for the overall experience. A luxury brand should stand behind its service just as much as its furniture. I still hope the sofa lives up to expectations, but so far the customer service has been incredibly disappointing.

The delivery team was excellent, but they notice that some of the pillows looked not normal after unpacking them. They told me to give it 2 days to see if they go to normal form... I contacted 7th avenue after 2 days because the pillows still dont look right.... That was almost 2 weeks ago and I am still waiting for the "amazing customer service" to call or contact me to fix this....

Our salesperson, Patricia, was great. She is responsive and ordering was easy. For some reason we did not the extra filling for the pillows that was on the original order. They now offer set up and delivery which is worth the cost, it took 4 people to assemble a 4 piece sofa with ottoman 2 hours. So doing it on your own would probably take all day. The delivery team was also 2 hours late so scheduling needs to better. Also all the boxes are brought into the home and then assembled which we were not aware of. Otherwise they did a good job.

I just received my couches, so the quality seems good for now. However, I had a bad experience with the delivery. When I purchased the couches in person, I was told that they were going to be delivered and assembled at the same time, so I paid extra for that. When I got them, the Fed Ex person told me that they could only leave the 12 boxes outside of my front door and that I had to call support to schedule the assembly. This was a day before Thanksgiving, and I had to push all 12 boxed inside my house by myself. I am a petite woman, and this was very difficult for me. Then I had 12 boxes laying in my living room and I was hosting Thanksgiving the next day. I called support and I was told that they did not know when they could send someone to assemble the pieces. I got very upset and threaten to send them back, not until I did that, someone said they were going to send someone the same day. I thought I was dealing with a reputable company, but I was disappointed. Their delivery system needs to be better. I was misinformed. Not a good experience to say the least.

I bought the couch on Black Friday, last year. We received it January 23rd, so a little over 8 weeks. Within the first week, my daughter spilt lipgloss on it. I immediately washed it. But with it being oil, it didn’t come out. I reached out and they were nice enough to send 3 replacement covers, because it was brand new. I will say, the couch is comfortable but it looks WORN. The covers have unraveling threads, and have pilled on high traffic areas. I would say, if you have kids or animals choose a dark color. I bought an oatmeal/sand color and it shows everything. If you spill water, you’ll have to wash otherwise it will cause a stain.

We really like the comfort and modularity of the couch, but are disappointed by the fabric. Ordered the performance white because we have 2 dogs and 3 young kids in the house. Had the couch for less than 6 months and stains/dirt do not completely come out in the washing machine and fabric is piling. Would likely purchase again but definitely pick a different fabric.
