They have their own criteria for price-matching. They've never been able to match ContactLensKing despite (multiple) receipts or current day-time screenshots of website pricing. 1800contacts support stated that prices are only matched directly to website when in Incognito mode, after you've cleared cookies and cache. The request to check in incognito mode, felt odd and was a first from, any retailer. Side note, the incognito price was the same price I was trying to obtain but not honored. In the end, ContactLensKing is king, again.

I needed contacts urgently so an expedited process was essential. Upon placing my order, I waited 24 hours to check the process to find out that it still wasn’t confirmed even after I submitted my prescription to speed it up. After contacting a rep, it was revealed that my order wasn't even looked at and they still needed time to confirm the prescription was real. So basically they let me know the retention rate per order is at 24 hours minimum. During this entire process, the representative who helped me immediately was sassy for no reason and kept trying to upsell me a higher quantity.

I had cataract surgery and no longer needed contact lenses. I had read where 1800Contacts would buy back any unused lenses. I assumed they would buy them back for what I paid for them, but I was wrong. I was paid just over five dollars per lense. I got back $21 for four lenses. I hate for a company to be misleading. Since this has happened, I have gotten two people to order their contact lenses through a different company. I will continue to share my story with people and I will try and discourage others from shopping there. The little bit of money they saved by buying my contacts at a discount rate, will cost them thousands in future sales.
