I am incredibly frustrated and disappointed with New York City Baskets. I ordered a basket specifically for a new baby, with a promised next-day delivery so it would arrive the day the family came home from the hospital. Instead, the delivery has been delayed by 4 days and counting. Every single time I check the USPS tracking status, the delivery date gets pushed back by another day, and the gift still hasn't arrived. When I reached out to customer service for help, they were absolutely useless. Instead of taking responsibility or trying to resolve the issue, they argued with me, claiming that next-day delivery was only "implied" and not "promised." This is completely unacceptable business practice. I bought this gift to celebrate a time-sensitive, once-in-a-lifetime milestone, and instead, I’m left empty-handed with terrible service. Save your money and shop elsewhere.

I had a frustrating experience with both initial delivery and replacements My first order (a gift) arrived melted and ruined because it was shipped and left out with zero temperature control on a 100-degree day. While customer service did send a replacement, that package had its own issues. All of the items inside the basket were glued together. Trying to separate the products caused the packaging to rip open. The quality control and shipping standards are lacking, and I would not recommend using them.

They have the most misleading pictures on their website. The gift box I received is small, the portions of each item in the box is extremely tiny. I would be embarrassed to send this to anyone. Avoid this merchant at all costs.

It's one thing to make a mistake, but there has to be a way to get it fixed. I ordered a Chocolate Decadence basket and the recipient got a spa basket instead. There is no way to contact anybody; even the AI chat bot isn't working. I have had problems with this group, 1800flowers, etc, before, but after a few years, I thought I'd give them another chance and joined their Passport program to get free shipping, because the shipping charges make everything cost-prohibitive. This was their last chance.

Ordering was easy. Gift was delivered on time. That's the good. I ordered a chocolate heart that comes with little hammer to break it open. There are candies, pretzels and other goodies inside. It arrived in a box that was too small for the heart. The chocolate heart was shoved in sideways and arrived already smashed open. The size of the gift is small for the price paid but I expected that. This was a Valentine gift for my husband so I am extremely disappointed and won't order from this company again.

There is no lower number. We received a gift basket from my brothers family as we always do each Christmas. This year was a very tiny couple of boxes with a pretzel some cookies and nothing else I could remember. I thought my poor brother has fallen on hard times. Then they called me to see if I had gotten what they had sent because other relatives had received odd items. Usually I thank them and let them know it came and how much we enjoyed it. The straw packing was more useful than the stale cookie. I am not sure how this is getting resolved. I only want them to get a refund for I know they work hard for their money.

Received a “gift tower” Only 2 boxes had anything in them. The others held packing straw. The 2 boxes that had items, one was stale moose munch type product with MAYBE a 1/5 of the bag full and one box had inedible hard candy. Can not believe a company would deliver a product so blatantly a scam for money.

Ordered a birthday gift basket. 3 days past due date, no delivery and no way to contact customer service.no phone number, no live chat, no email. Never again
