Zip'r Mobility is a disgrace. Do not buy anything from them. The wheelchair itself is garbage: heavy, cheaply put together, and nowhere near worth $1,299.99. Just taking it out of the box and looking it over told me it was overpriced junk. The company behind it is even worse. They called to say it was out of stock. I turned down a substitute and asked for my money back, and they shipped it anyway without asking me. Then they refused to take it back. After weeks of demands for photo after photo, they rejected the return by claiming the tires "show signs of use," without ever saying what they saw. When I laid out exactly what they'd done, I got the same copy-and-paste denial word for word, as if nobody had read a thing I wrote. They sell mobility equipment to vulnerable people and treat customers with contempt. Bad product, worse company, and I'm out $1,299.99. Zero stars. Buy from anyone else, and warn anyone you know who's thinking about it.

I’ve had several scooters of various brands over the years. I was in need of a new one and came across the Zip’r scooter. I ordered the three wheel Ultra. It came about a week later. I assembled the remaining items out of the box and plugged the charger into the battery to charge up the new scooter. I noticed the light on the charger was solid red while on the charger, which was strange because all of the other chargers on the scooters that I’ve had showed red until charged and then changed to green when fully charged. After a good while I unplugged the charger from the battery compartment just to see if I could move it from the porch to the garage to continue charging and the ST error code light was blinking once continuously, indicating that the battery needed charging, and it would not move. I put it in ‘push’ mode and relocated it. The next morning, after letting it charge all night, I tried it again and had the same issue. I emailed customer service explaining the issue in detail and the steps taken, and they responded rather promptly with several troubleshooting steps (checking connections, etc.), and also asked me to charge it for several more hours after that. If it was still having a problem, then they said to make a video showing the battery indicator, etc., which I did, including the fact that the rear yellow button was in the ‘drive’ position, and showing the charger cable being removed before turning it on, etc. I got a response the next day thanking me for the video and detailed explanation, and asked me to do troubleshooting steps that I had just done previously. Obviously the video was not watched by the writer of the email, as it answered those questions. I explained that I’ve already performed the steps and sent another copy of the same video. I got a prompt response saying that the team member was going to escalate this and that I should hear back soon. As of the writing of this review, it has been over 48 hours-two days-from their last response-and a day since I sent two more emails pleading to know the company’s course of action to remedy their error-with absolutely no response. I even tried calling, but all I received was a canned recorded response directing me to email. I’m no expert, but it seems clear to me that it is either one or both of the batteries and or the charger that is the issue. I would think that the logical and prompt action would be to send me a battery box with the batteries in it and a charger so that I could have a working Scooter. I bought a new scooter and have yet to have it move one inch on its own. I am very unhappy that this issue wasn’t immediately rectified (after performing all of the requested troubleshooting and sending the video) by the company due to them sending me a defective product. I am sincerely hoping that Zip’r will fulfill its obligation to provide a fully functioning scooter as advertised, rather than forcing me to be stuck with one that has NEVER worked.

Customer service after the sale is the worst you will ever experience for a company that provides mobility equipment. They have failed to respond to RMA request for a simple battery charger that quit working after 6 weeks. They told the AZ Attorney General that they would work with me and they did not. I purchased the Zip'R Pro wheelchair and you had better be somewhat mechanically inclined to assemble it.

I help a friend and his wife. He’s had a stroke…and is partially paralyzed. His wife is from Thailand…not much English. She ordered a Zipr Roo w/4 wheels. When it arrived, it was too heavy, so she declined the delivery. UPS returned the scooter with the exact same shipping label. This was July 2025! They have yet to refund her $599.99…not a penny. They have their correct address and credit card number. They dont answer the phone or return calls, when you leave a number. I believe they flat out lied to the Attorney General of Washington…they said they tried to refund $299.99. Only HALF of the price my friend paid. I know they never even tried. All it would have taken was ONE phone call…but they never bothered. They take advantage of the disabled and elderly. They could care less about stealing..yes stealing money. They’ll do it to you too! They kept the hard earned money of a disabled senior and got that scooter back too. That’s BS. They told the AG’s office that they tried in “good faith” to return 1/2 of the money! How can they even say that…if that was true my friend would have received a check from them at the address Zipr has…which NEVER HAPPENED.

I ordered this scooter April 7, 2026 and it was delivered on the 13th. After assembling, it did not come on. I emailed many times and their replies were send me videos and reinstall the battery which I did numerous times. I asked for a call tag to get it picked up because it didn’t work. I disputed the charges on my credit card and when Capital One contacted them, they gave them false information. They said I never contacted them before disputing the charges and that I never tried to return it. my credit card put the charges back on me and said I had to work with merchant to get it corrected. They stopped responding to my emails once they got their money and I am stuck with a scooter that doesn’t turn on because we found a broke. black wire coming from the battery. They do not honor warranty and tell the customer that if they try to return it there’s a 25% restock fee and the customer has to pay return shipping.

Claims American Family Owned. Instead, Chinese product with AI generated customer service. I wish I could post the entire email chain between me and the company. Utter nonsense! In short. I purchased a wheelchair for my mother. The batteries were stolen in transit. Customer service (AI) said my problem to deal with the carrier. I said fine, I will purchase 2 more batteries while I'm dealing with the carrier for refund. They sent to obviously used batteries. In the same box, cables hooked up, one would not hold a charge at all. In the 5 minutes the chair ran before dying, I notice the engage/disengage levers were installed backwards (ie the chair only moves when the levers are in a position to remove the service cover). Contacted fake customer service and said I wanted to return for a refund because at this point I'd had enough. returning a product is apparently not in the algorithm. It only wanted to send new batteries and never wanted to discuss the other issue. The coup da grace, the final email from AI ignored all other problems and said that there is a high probability that the employees of the business where I had the chair delivered stole the original batteries. I hate to break it to them, but that is not possible (but that is another too long of a story). In any case this all dragged on and mom was placed in a nursing home and never got a chance to use the wheelchair. I bought 2 Interstate batteries and put in the chair and got it going (It only runs in disengage, which honestly is just annoying but not a huge problem). I will be donating it to a local charity to use as long as it runs. I wish the company was in my state, I would have sued for return but not much else you can do otherwise without a lot of difficulty. Bottom line, buy from someone local who can help you if there's a problem!

Scooter arrived in a timely fashion. That is the only good thing I can say. I charged it overnight and took it out for a drive and the battery indicator kept flashing down to empty after only 5 minutes and then it stopped moving. I tried resetting the battery but it kept doing the same thing. Contacted the company and they sent new batteries (not in the battery box). What a chore that was to get the new batteries in the battery box. Same problem though. Took it for a drive and 5 minutes in stopped moving. Contacted customer service and asked for a refund. No they want me to troubleshoot some more. Arrghhh. HORRIBLE COMPANY

Purchased two of the Zipr Roo 4 scooters for my wife and I on the 6th of May 2025. I immediately found four problems and both scooters had them. Problem #1: The keys they provide are absolutely worthless. I can take a wood dowel the same size as the key, round off one end and insert it where their key goes, push down and Shazam, I am off and running. Problem #2: I could not hear the horns. I, like thousands of seniors wear hearing aids. And NO, mine are not the cheap ones. I get them from the VA and out of pocket they run $10,000.00 a pair. Problem #3: I spent over a month going back and forth with their customer service and they offered no solution to the horn problem other than saying they would have their design department get in touch with me to discuss possible solutions. I am still waiting for their call. Problem #4: I wrote the CEO of Zipr roo about the above issues and he didn't have the common courtisy to respond. I would never even think about buying from this company again.
