Not accepting insurance was a big NO for me.

I should have known better than to fall for the lowest price on the internet! Sadly, I helped my mother get hearing aids from these people and have had nothing but problems. There's no one to go see or deal with in person...once the trial period ended so did the service

Hi Lynn! I am not sure this review was intended for ZipHearing, because local care is always included, there is always a local hearing provider involved in every transaction, and we would never leave someone hanging just because a trial period ended! We're also not the lowest price on the internet...If this review is indeed for ZipHearing please feel free to reach out to me privately at [email protected] and I will make sure your mother's issues get resolved in a timely manner. If the review is not for ZipHearing I respectfully ask you to consider removing it. Thank you!

I didn't have a good experience. I did some browsing online and made the mistake of putting my phone number in, a requirement just to SEE the price. Now these people won't stop calling me, driving me crazy, because they just switch numbers when you block one. I won't make that mistake again!

Hi Devin, are you sure this review is for ZipHearing? The reason I ask is we don't require a phone number or phone call to see a price...you can do it via chat or email. We also don't have any kind of phone number switching technology, all of our calls come from our main number, 800-731-6794.

Avoid ZipHearing - Appalling Customer Service. I strongly advise against using ZipHearing. My experience with them was shockingly poor. Not only did their representative fail to deliver on promised timelines, but he was also unresponsive and offensive. To make matters worse, escalating the issue to the company president, Jeff Hall, proved futile. Instead of addressing my concerns, I was met with rudeness and yelling. This kind of behavior is completely unacceptable, especially from a company president. ZipHearing clearly has no respect for its customers. Save yourself the frustration and take your business elsewhere.

Unfortunately I did not have a good experience with them. I didn't realize that they just sell the hearing aids and the rest of it is up to the audiologist. Their audiologist in Northern NJ is not responsive to emails or phone calls. I have had numerous problems and while they were replaced by the manufacturer, I still have problems. The audiologist tells me that the problems are normal and they are not problems at all. I learned a very expensive lesson that the best price is not always the best route to take. Next time, I will be dealing with a group that not only sells the devices, but provides the service in the same office. Ziphearing did recommend going to another audiologist and offering to pay, but its up to me to find someone to work with and I am sure in the long run, its going to cost me more than the money I saved by going with them in the beginning. Just to add from the owner's response, yes he did offer a full refund, I tried to go to another provider, but the order got messed up. His full refund expires on 4/1 and I said said to him on the phone today, I am not returning them without having another replacement pair. It will take me 3 weeks to get new hearing aids, due to scheduling conflicts. So I am stuck with this mess and have learned an expensive lesson.
