Great watch with good service, little issues.
So first of all I want to talk about the watch itself. Some things you need to know are that it is indeed a fashion watch that follows the trend of being rather large (compared to more traditional watch sizes that I wear, and I do have a small wrist). However, this makes the watch a statement on the wrist and lets it be a real eye-catcher and it is supposed to be exactly that. The movement is quite solid, it does its job and functions quite well. My only issue on that would be that a higher amount of vph (vibrations per hour) would have suited the watch better because the ticking on the turbine doesn't look too smooth. On the other hand, this would make the watch way more expensive so I am fine with that. The see-through caseback gives a glimpse at the beautiful modified rotor and the miyota 8215 movement ticking away, really enhancing the look and feel of the watch. The overall quality is outstanding and the design is modern, interesting and beautiful to look at. In fact, wearing this watch I have never had more people asking me what kind of watch I am wearing and they all loved it. Checking the time takes a while to get used to but I really like the concept of the hands. Only the date is quite difficult to read because the turbine kind of hides it. The leather band is a little too thick for my taste but it fits the watch really well and the quality is really good. Moving on to the customer service, I didn't have any problems and the service employees could always help me whenever I had a question. When reading the reviews talking about a bad customer service, I believe that they heve been written a while ago and Zinvo's customer service has been improved a lot since then. However, there is one thing that botheres me. I ordered my watch from Germany and I had to pay about 40€ on top because of customs and import taxes. It does say that the customer pays for all import taxes somewhere in the FAQ section on the website. But this information is quite hidden and I didn't see it when ordering so it surprised me. It would be nice if this information would be shown to you when ordering from another country. So to everybody who thinks of ordering a Zinvo watch outside of the US, be aware that you have to pay for all of the taxes and customs.
