We have been using a Zerowater jug for several years now. To start with, it was fine - the cartridges ran out quite quickly and it was a little expensive, but the water tasted clean and fresh. However, over the years, the quality of the cartridges has decreased dramatically. They last hardly any time at all before needing replacement. Some of them give the water a horrible bitter taste from day 1, which does not clear no matter how many run-throughs you do. Others are painfully slow. We're moving to an undersink company now. I recommend you avoid Zerowater

I have been a Zero water customer for several years. That said I am extremely disappointed that the replacement filters don't last as long as they use to. Personally I believe that this is done by design. So that Zero water can make more profits. Make all of the money that you want. But you will no longer make it off of me. I'm done.

I have been using Zero for at least 4 years. I love the product but the last year nothing has changed on my end these filters plug up almost right away out of the box .Something has changed. Then AI answered the phone for customer service. WE ARE TOAST

This reminds me of the printer vs ink replacement scheme. The unit is relatively inexpensive and the filters are ridiculously expensive lasting less than 2 weeks for a household of just 2 people. The indicator reads “1” then suddenly goes t o “2” and the water abruptly turns foul and chemical tasting. Nevermore!

I bought a Zero Water Europe Jug and filters through their website. The lid is badly fitting as it doesn't clip on properly and the filters are practically impossible to fit without the water leaking from the sides. This was not good news as I had purchased this due to the fact the Culligan Jug I had bought via amazon a while back and at the time worked well. DOES NOT WORK WELL NOW because also of ill fitting filters that don't fit properly so again like the Zero Water Jug leaks round the side of the filter. I went on AI and was advised that Culligan had bought out Zero Water and were told to cut their costs down. You don't have to be a rocket scientist to realise the filters have been cheaply made and flogged through amazon and Zero Water . I have come to the conclusion that online purchases are declining due to the over all quality of goods especially from Amazon and so called main suppliers. I feel online has become a huge dumping ground to sell crap goods because we have no idea of the quality and what we are really purchasing.

Metallischer Geschmack und enttäuschende Filterleistung Ich habe das ZeroWater-System mehrere Wochen getestet. Das Wasser hatte von Anfang an einen deutlich metallischen, für mich unangenehmen Geschmack. Trotzdem habe ich dem System eine faire Chance gegeben. Nach nur etwa 36 Litern war der TDS-Wert bereits bei 6 ppm. Der Kundenservice teilte mir anschließend selbst mit, dass bei meinem Leitungswasser nur etwa 30–40 Liter pro Filter zu erwarten seien. Für mich sind Geschmack und laufende Filterkosten völlig unbefriedigend. Auch meine Bitte um Rücknahme und Erstattung wurde bisher nicht konkret gelöst. Für mich keine Empfehlung.

ZERO WATER FILTERS ARE NOT RECYCLABLE IN THE UK ... despite the fact that their webside seems to indicate that they are. They even offer a recycling bag on their website for £1 (in UK sterling). I've swapped a number of emails with their support team, and it seems that there is no way these very big and heavy plastic filters can be recycled in the UK. While I am happy with the way it filters water, i don't want to add hundreds of big plastic filters to landfill, so I will be looking elsewhere for water filtering systems. Get your act together, Zero Water!

The new peeling system that replaced the screw-off cap at the top of a new filter often renders the filter useless. If the peel does not come off cleanly, which is often the case, the filter does not screw into the pitcher tightly enough to prevent the leakage of unfiltered water into the pitcher. After wasting money on several useless filters I have decided to quit using ZeroWater entirely and have gone to another band. I had been a loyal ZeroWater customer for at least 10 years.
