Good travel agency with excellent hotel and headquarters on the outskirts of Moshi. The personnel of Zara Tours is very responsive and helpful. Our guide and the porters on our trip to Kilimanjaro were great. The food is abundant, the tents are comfortable, everything is okay. The rental equipment is a little bit old, but is pretty decent. I would definitely recommend Zara Tours to my friends!

My basic reason to be in touch with Zara tours was meeting a friend who was staying at springlands hotel and to be able to stay with them one has to have some excursions with Zara. I took 2 day trips with them and the Matuerini falls and Marangu village tour.. the hotel seemed more or less like a strict hostel with rules like wifi only in the garden.. food options were limited with only specific cooked food to be haf at specific times and long tables with no privacy of space.. my guide was not interested in doing full trips and kept scaring me of getting tired.. forced me to do the coffee plantation trip as he must be getting a cut out of it.. the safari vehicle that i had the 1st day had torn seats and no seat belts and it was a rough road and banged my head to the rae ironed finished sealing.. food was horrible and i did not enjoy my stay with them at all.. except the last day when i bumped into their manager Remmy who made the last few hours with them worth a while..

My best friend and I just finished a 6 day Kilimanjaro trip and 1 day safari to Arusha National Park with Zara and it was flawless. A representative met us as soon as we got off the plane, helped us with our visa paperwork, and took us back to their own hotel in Moshi. The hotel itself is nothing fancy but it’s safe, secure, and the food is good. The trek was nothing short of incredible. We had Festo as our guide and he clearly was the most experienced guide on the mountain while we were there. I have celiac disease and after conversation with the guide and cook, was able to eat safely (and plenty) on our trip. We had a successful summit with perfect weather (take the Rongai route, way less people and beautiful scenery!). The safari to Arusha was brief (I had only had one day before flying out) but well worth it; our driver even had a bottle of wine for us for lunch and took us to an amazing souvenir store in Arusha after. Combined with a massage at the hotel on my last day and it truly was a perfect trip. Thanks for everything Zara!

We just arrived back home from our wonderful holiday to Tanzania. Booked with Afrika safaris in the Netherlands and carried out bij Zara tours in Tanzania. We climbed Kilimanjaro by the 7 day Machame route, had safaris in Tarangire, Ngorongoro and Manyara and spent 4 days at Zanzibar. Everything was arranged perfectly from the pick up at the airport untill the moment that we had to leave Zanzibar. We especially want to empasize the great service and kind staff at all the hotels. We also want to thank our team of guides and porters who accompanied us during our climb! We have great respect for their hard work what resulted in an unforgettable experience for us! Thank you everybody at Zara tours who contributed to our wonderful holiday!

The service was very professional: everything was very well organised, the guides and the entire staff was great, the food as well and it was a great experience. I highly recomment it!

I hired Zara Tours for a safari trip in Kenya (7 Days-Classic Featuring Safari) in August 2018 ("peak season"). We were a party of three and had a car just for ourselves, which was very good. Zara Tours' partner company in Kenya was also excellent and had very efficient and nice employees. E-mail exchanges with Zara Tours were good, even though sometimes it took some days to receive an answer. I definitely recommend Zara Tours.

Tailor made itineraries, great patient guides, perfect accommodations, good food. Definitely recommend it !!
