YRC FreightReviews of yrc.com

straight thieves. Bought a pallet of items from an auction and they said the pallet went missing. Couldn't even imagine how come a pallet like a big size is going to be missed. Paid 800$ for the shipping and they approved a claim like 300$ all together. worst people ever.

Two weeks to move freight from Nebraska to North Carolina. This is probably the worst shipping company in the US. I was sad to see the company chose them to ship my freight. I’ve had several bad experiences with them. Someone needs to regulate the trucking industry. They are responsible to no one, and the consumer is stuck with whomever is chosen by the company from which they make their purchase.

Yellow picked up a shipment for us and quoted one day transit (Spokane, WA to Tacoma, WA). Seattle employees refused to unload inbound trailers for 3 working days and send it to Tacoma for final delivery. It took a week to get the cargo. No one there cares. Seattle terminal will not answer phone, voicemail hangs up on you. Robert at Tacoma terminal promises to call you back but he never does and will not return voicemail messages. 888 customer service is barely understandable and is "very sorry" but nothing they can do but call the terminals and then tell you the terminal didn't even answer the phone for them. This is the second time they did this to us. The first time it took 29 days to get our freight unloaded while it sat in trailers in Seattle. They blamed it on Covid labor shortages. This company is very close to bankruptcy and I'm sorry for the few good employees. But you have a lot of bad employees and even more BAD management. You won't get any more of our company's inbound cargo and we will refuse to ship on YRC-USF for any of our customers. USF was a fantastic company before YRC bought & ruined them. No one cares about the customer at YRC. When they collapse, and it's coming soon, the drivers will be stuck on the road and freight will freeze where it is. They will hold your freight hostage and you won't be able to locate it for weeks. Choose anyone else to move your freight because YRC-USF is going under any day now. If you work here, start looking for a new company immediately. Google it and get your resume ready.

Worst company. Lost my package that I was expecting MONTHS ago and had to call just for the to take corrective action to get it on to the right truck. Finally gets here & the driver delivers it to the wrong house. Instead of fixing the issue and reassuring me with what protocol is supposed to be next, he shrugs his shoulders says calls tomorrow and gets back in his truck in the middle of me talking. I had to go knock on several neighbors doors looking for my packages because it was a $500 product. He also sent us to the WRONG house when asked what house did he deliver it to. Called the company and the ladies literally laughed in my face. I will never do business with them again and if you’re a company I would consider the same. They took up 4 months of my life for something that was guaranteed to be here within 2 weeks. Insane. If I could give 0 stars I would.

I just had the worst experience with "Kat" at the YRC Rhode Island terminal. She was rude to my secretary, followed by beyond rudeness, and inappropriate tone with me, the OWNER of the company she is doing the delivery for!!!!!! She thought she was speaking with my customer's receiving department......which is even worse!!! How dare a company think they can treat MY customer with such behavior!!! And WHY would she think that treatment would be appropriate???? I asked her to be more professional with her tone, I do NOT need to use YRC, there are plenty of other choices out there.

7 days to send a load 150 miles. Was told it would be a two day transit. I lost my customer over this and no one at YRC could even care. I could go one and on but what's the point. If you want the worst carrier out there for your freight YRC is the best.

I would give a zero rating if I could. I called the local number I had to check on my businesses freight shipment, but got connected with the national customer service and talked to Carla who was extremely condescending and rude. She told me if they didn’t call you then you don’t have your shipment yet, I said obviously I know that I don’t have my shipment, I’m calling to see when it’s coming and she said I would have to call the local number and gave me the number. I told her THAT IS the number I just called and she said well then what button did you push when prompted and I told her I followed the prompts and she said maybe you should listen to all of them. Excuse me? She would not answer my questions and when I kept trying to explain my situation she says “again we’re back to maybe you should do this or that” She was no help whatsoever and told me to call back tomorrow and get the local office. When I told her she was being very rude her response was “Um, okkk”. I am going to ask my vendor that I order from to please not use YRC again to ship my product. Totally unprofessional customer service.

They told me it would be to my place on certain days Mutiple days, and it was two weeks late. They also said i can't pick it up and they need someone from a company to tell them its ok for me to take it even though I payed for it and i had the receipt. Worst shipping company ever and i would never go through them again. What a lying piece of crap company
