The entire purpose of my call was to…
The entire purpose of my call was to get a prescription for kennel cough. My dog has had kennel cough several times before and is otherwise healthy with no vomiting, diarrhea, or other symptoms. The process took about an hour from inception to the point of seeing a vet via FaceTime call, who then briefly looked at his gums, ears, and belly skin. Upon looking at those the vet said that he had kennel cough and said she would get a prescription called in that we could pick up sometime this week. My rebuttal was the whole reason I called was to get him help sooner than later (today is Sunday), and that I wasn’t going to have an emergency vet appointment for kennel cough. Was hoping for nothing more than a prescription. The vet, who had zero interpersonal connection or what I would call “give a (can’t use curse words so) hoot”offered to send me to their accounting department for a refund. Quite frankly, this company is a money grab targeting people who don’t actually care for their pets health as opposed to the vigilant pet owner protecting their companions needs. They’re after low hanging fruit if you will. I refused the refund and hung up, and I hope the $20 they received from my family is well worth the negative review you’re reading now. Steer clear and go to your local vet or a source that is trustworthy, because these folks are not.
