Literally useless
Literally useless. I’m starting to think other reviews are either bought or the HESI has changed completely and their content is no longer relevant because not a single question from fundamentals, pharmacology, or med surg (the exams I have taken so far) has been about the content provided by yourbestgrade. I studied to the point of memorizing and reciting word for word the questions, answers, and rationales of each practice test and it was completely useless. Update your content to more relevantly match the hesi exams because as a poor nursing student a wasted $100 is not a good feeling and neither is having to re-take a course falling behind 5 months from graduation because I failed an exam that I was “guaranteed” to pass using your content. Thank you for the wasted time, heartache, and false hope you provided all for the “low price of $100.” Do better. Be better for future students.

Hi Hannah, Thank you for your review. I'm very sorry to hear you feel this way. I reviewed your account to see what may have happened, and I noticed that (from the more than 3,300 practice questions we offer), thus far, you only completed 238 practice questions. In specific, I noticed you took the same 2 Med Surg practice tests 8 times and the same 2 Pharmacology practice tests 9 times. I'm so sorry if you thought these questions would be on your exam, identically, word for word. They are not (if truly identical questions would appear on your exam, then signing up for our program would simply allow nursing students to cheat on their exam, and hence we'd be compromising the nursing school process). We discourage students from memorizing our questions word for word and instead recommend students to focus on understanding our rationales. For example, when you retake a practice test, you should know all the answers because you truly understand the rationales... NOT because you simply remember the answer of question 1 was B, etc... (One way of challenging yourself to do this is to block the answer choices with your hand, only read the test question, and see if you can answer it - and give a rationale - without even looking at the A B C D choices.) You write that, in addition to memorizing the questions, you also focused on understanding the rationales, which is a good thing. I'm not sure if you're aware, but we have a LOT more Med Surg and Pharmacology practice questions if you access these subjects through our Test Creator. For example, we currently have 813 RN Med Surg practice questions in total, but you only completed 110 Med Surg practice questions (less than 14%). If you had completed more Med Surg practice questions, I do not doubt that at least some of the Med Surg questions on your exam would have been similar (although none would have been word by word identical). Similarly, you only completed 26% of our Pharmacology practice questions. Because the official 55 question HESI Specialty Subject exam changes questions all the time, the more questions you use to practice, the more prepared you'll be. It seems you may not have been aware of our Test Creator; hence I would invite you to check it out. I think you may find the additional practice beneficial. You also mentioned the Fundamentals exam, but I noticed on your profile that, thus far, you only completed 2 Med Surg and 2 Pharmacology 55 question practice tests, and it seems you didn't take any Fundamentals practice tests yet?
