Disappointed by the misleading description on Etsy
I want to preface this by saying I was initially in love with the ring and left a 5-star review on Etsy. I wish I had waited before actually wearing the ring. I ordered a yellow gold filled (!) ring with cubic zirconias. However, it has become obvious that the ring is not gold filled as stated on Etsy. It's probably gold plated at best. Here on Trustpilot their bio says gold-plated as well, which means they are misleading customers on Etsy. I noticed severe wear on day TWO. I do not work with my hands. I remove the ring when I wash or lotion my hands. I don't wear it at night. I've been so gentle with it. Was the price on the low side for a gold-filled ring? Sure! But I still feel disappointed because I love this ring and I know I'll need to swap it in the very near future.

We’re truly sorry to hear about your disappointment, especially after you initially loved the ring. We completely understand how upsetting this experience must feel. We would like to clarify that our gold filled pieces are made with a thick bonded gold layer over sterling silver, but like all gold filled jewelry, wear over time can vary depending on skin chemistry, environmental exposure, and daily use. That said, noticeable wear after such a short time is absolutely not the experience we want for our customers. We also appreciate you pointing out the confusion regarding the wording between platforms. We understand how this could feel misleading, and we will review our descriptions to ensure everything is communicated more clearly and consistently. Thank you for sharing your honest feedback. We genuinely value it and are sorry that this experience did not meet your expectations.
