Expensive and multiple fermented smelling scents
Expensive products with 3 unfortunate foul smelling scents in my order that I thought surely had to have been a fermentation issue. Customer service assured me that there was nothing wrong with the scents and that their batches go through testing and are perfectly fine. There was no offer for return or replacement. Very expensive oils not worth the risk. Here is the email response they sent me: “I am so sorry to hear that several of the oils in your first order did not meet your expectations. I can certainly understand how disappointing that must have been, especially when you were excited to receive your new oils and found that the Ginger, Clove, and Nutmeg aromas seemed unpleasant and unusable. We appreciate you taking the time to share this feedback with us. I do want to let you know that our oils have their own unique aroma, taste, color, etc. that varies from batch to batch. The variance can be caused by many different factors including time of harvest, amount of sunlight, amount of water, geographical location of harvest, etc. However, the chemical constituents of the oils do remain within our specifications. We verify the chemical constituents through testing before we begin selling the oil. From this information, we can assure you that the active constituents in each batch and bottle of essential oil meet our specifications and thus have the same therapeutic value.” I immediately cancelled my subscription as the 3 scents in this order smelt NOTHING like what they claimed to be. My family was gagging at the foul smell of one of them in particular. The high price is not worth gambling to receive a good smell or a rotten smell.
