I ordered a sweater from this company on Sept 13th. When it finally arrived, I decided, because of the fit, that I wanted to return it but there were no details in the parcel as to how to go about it. I cannot count the number of times I have contacted them for instructions and received no response. Very disappointing customer service. I would not buy anything else from them.

Do not buy from York Boutique. I feel they dupe customers by advertising fast, free delivery, but hide that items ship from China. I ordered a £40 dress for an event that arrived too late. To return it, they expect me to pay around £25 in international postage. Because returning it is completely uneconomical, their resolution is to offer a 30% discount to keep an item I can't use. In my opinion this is a misleading website. Save your money!

Be aware this company is not in York !! Things come from China. !! Which tbf other cheap eastern companies are great but the slippers I bought were so say reduced from £50 to £24.99 absolute joke took a while to arrive they are "supposed to be specifically for plantar fasciitis " they are pure tat !! You cannot return unless you are prepared to pay £25 ! After lots of messages with lady called Sophie I got 30% back and keep goods !!... A risky company and Im annoyed didn't read reviews... the home page makes it sound convincingly like it's in York ...very misleading

I wish their was a place for Zero stars, I would have given them. I was preparing for a big occasion and thought I was ordering a sculpting high rise trouser, only for some miserable loose fit Cropped trousers to be delivered to me after weeks of waiting. I eventually learnt it was delivered from China and was nothing close to the picture shown online. I opted for a refund as they were not my size and I obviously couldn't wear them and then I was told that I would bear the cost of returning to China. This is fraud to me and the management should address this immediately. I have never been this frustrated with a purchase as this. Please avoid York boutique completely, there products are cheap quality and nothing close to what is displayed online

❌ Absolute waste of money – Terrible quality, wrong sizing, and expensive returns! I am completely unsatisfied with my order from York Boutique. The clothing I received looks absolutely nothing like what was advertised online. • Awful Sizing: The sizing is completely off and does not match their online size charts at all. • Cheap Material: The fabric is incredibly cheap, thin, and feels nothing like the quality promised in the photos. • The Return Scam: When I contacted them to complain, they told me I have to pay the return shipping costs out of my own pocket. Because the items ship from overseas, sending them back will cost almost as much as the clothes themselves. This is not a local boutique. Do not trust the photos on their website—save your money and shop elsewhere!

Absolute rip off! Ordered a capybara advent calender with what was suppose to be figurines turned out to a something wrapped in clingfilm with small flat capybara woth hole in so you can hang them up with the gold thread that came with them. Very disappointed. Beware do not buy!!! Came from China. Should have done a bit more research!!! No point sending back took a month to get here, will cost losds to send back and you only get 14 days. Ignore the company name 'York Boutique' nothing British about it 🤬

Their products are drop shipped from China - a return requires expensive return to China and a sentence about being unlikely to get money back for several weeks. The product I ordered was meant to be an advent calendar with small capybara models in each window - what I received was a cling film wrapped plastic tray with tiny flat plastic pictures. Awful quality and not as advertised at all. Total waste of money - would strongly advise not buying from them.

Out-of-date tracking information provided, stating June dispatch arriving in July, when ordered in October. Website address for USA, products come from China...eventually. Dress arrived poorly put together, will never fit anyone, no matter what their shape, does not look like the photo. Fabric feels like old fashioned crimplene.
